공업고등학교 학생들이 지각한 희망과 진로장벽이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 직업세계로의 이행을 앞두고 있는 공업고등학교 학생들에게 진로문제가 더욱 절실함을 염두에 둘 때, 희망이 다른 영역에서처럼 진로 영역에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는가를 알아보고 진로를 선택하는 데 있어서 지각하게 되는 극복 또는 좌절 진로장벽이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가를 살펴보았다. 또한, 공업고등학생들이 합리적으로 진로를 탐색하고 진로준비행동을 도울 수 있는 진로 상담에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 선행연구를 검토하여 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공업고등학교 학생들이 지각한 희망, 진로장벽, 진로준비행동은 학년별로 차이가 있는가, 둘째, 희망, 진로장벽, 진로준비행동은 어떠한 관계가 있는가, 셋째, 희망이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가, 넷째, 진로장벽이 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는가이다.
이를 위해 본 연구에서는 서울과 경기도에 소재한 2개의 공업고등학교에서 1, 2, 3학년 학생 총291명을 대상으로 희망과 진로탐색 장애, 진로준비행동 검사를 실시하였다. 공업고등학교 학생들의 희망과 진로장벽이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 측정하기 위하여 빈도분석과 교차분석을 통한 기술통계량, F검증과 Scheffe의 사후검증, 상관분석, 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구문제에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 희망과 진로장벽, 진로준비행동을 지각하는데 있어서 학년별로 차이를 보였다. 먼저 희망과 진로준비행동에서의 학년별 차이를 보면, 1, 2학년에 비해 3학년이 진로준비행동과 목표를 성취하고자 하는 희망의 주도적 사고를 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 진로장벽에 있어서는 하위요인인 직업정보부족요인에서 1, 2학년이 3학년보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 미래 불안요인의 경우, 2학년이 1, 3학년에 비해 다소 높은 결과가 나타났다.
둘째, 진로준비행동과 희망요인 간에는 유의미한 정적상관을 보이고 있는데 희망의 하위요인별로 보면 주도적 사고가 통로적 사고보다 진로준비행동에 더 높은 정적상관을 나타내고 있다.
진로준비행동과 진로장벽요인의 상관을 살펴보면 진로장벽의 하위요인중 직업정보부족, 자기 명확성 부족, 흥미부족, 미래불안 요인에서만 유의미한 부적상관을 보이고 있다.
셋째, 희망이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향은 희망의 통로적 사고에 대한 지각과 이들을 잘 활용할 수 있다는 능력을 가진 주도적 사고로 설명되어 질 수 있다.
넷째, 진로장벽은 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보았다. 진로준비행동을 설명하는 가장 중요한 변인으로는 직업정보부족요인과 중요타인과의 갈등으로 나타났다.
이러한 결과를 종합해보면 공업고등학교 학생들이 지각한 긍정적 사고인 희망과 진로장벽이 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변인임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 공업고등학교 학생들의 진로상담이 긍정적이고 희망적인 방법으로 진로준비행동에 합리적인 도움이 될 수 있으리라 예측해 볼 수 있겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Purpose of this study is to examine the influence of career barrier, hope on the career preparation behavior of technical high school students. Added to this, this study is to provide fundamental data in building up technical high school students' career guidance or counseling programs.
The research questions of this study are as follows;
First, are there any differences of hope, career barrier and career preparation behavior, perceived by technical high school students, on the grade?
Second, What is the correlation among hope, career barrier and career preparation behavior?
Third, how can hope explain the effect on career preparation behavior?
Fourth, how can career barrier explain effect on career preparation behavior?
For this survey, 291 students attending 2 technical high schools located Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were sampled to be subjects to a questionnaire survey. The statistic analysis program SPSS 14.0 was used for analyzing the collected data in Frequency Analysis, F-test, Correlation Analysis and Stepwise Multiple Regression.
The major findings of this research are as follows;
First, hope, career barrier, career preparation behavior were differed according to school years ; The third year students' perception on career preparation behavior and an agency thinking in hope was higher than that of the first ? second year students'.
Second, a positive correlation exists between career preparation behavior and hope, especially, (there is an agency thinking that has higher positive relation than a pathway thinking in hope.) an agency thinking was higher than pathway thinking on career preparation behavior.
Third, the participants who have a higher level of hope showed highly perceived lower career barrier. Also the higher hope has the significant impact on career preparation behavior and higher career barrier. Forth, hope and career barrier impact on career preparation behavior.
In conclusion, the followings are recommended that, when the counselors have a counseling session with the technical high school students, they should understand the scope which the technical high school students are facing on their perceived career barrier imports. The career barriers which technical high school students perceived can have positive impacts or negative impacts on their career preparation behavior. The career barrier which influences negatively in their career preparation behavior results in a significant effect on technical high school students' career preparation behavior through hope directly and indirectly.
