영문초록 : A study on the Literary Therapy through Creating a Filmwith Applying Oral FolktalesJi-Young, NaThe main purpose of this paper is to reveal the principles of the diagnosis and prescription of the epic of self through the process of creating a film. At this point, oral folktales is used for making the diagnosis and prescription of the epic of self more effectively. Therefore, another purpose of this paper is to verify the applying plan of oral folktales for maximizing the literary therapeutic effects. For achieving these proposes, I have done two major tasks. First, I probe the substantial literary therapeutic nature during the process of creating a film. I have my own experiences in creating three different films in the past two years, and in this paper, I analyze those three films to prove the effect of literary therapy. Second, I apply oral folktales to compose my own epic of self. It is very important to compose one's epic of self, because composed epic of self make the diagnosis and prescription of the epic of self more accurately. Oral folktales already has its complete epic of literary work, so using oral folktales can help to compose one's incomplete epic of self. Comparing the complete epic of oral folktales and the incomplete epic of self would lead the way to the diagnosis and prescription of the epic of self more effectively.The meaning of the process of creating the first film <Hee-Jin's choice(희진이의 선택)> is to reveal my epic of self more clearly. After analyzing the epic of <Hee-Jin's choice(희진이의 선택)>, I found my epic of self look alike 'failed <Generous Husband(도량 넓은 남편)>'. The reason I put the word 'failed' is that I tried to be like the husband from <Generous Husband(도량 넓은 남편)>, but I was just pretending and fake it. The original husband from <Generous Husband(도량 넓은 남편)> can really understand his unfaithful wife's adultery, and embrace whole situation calmly. However, the character from the first film <Hee-Jin's choice> and I just pretend to understand unfaithful partner, so eventually failed to embrace whole situation. The meaning of the process of creating the second film <A relation(인연)> is to adjust my epic of self. The weakness of my epic of self was revealed after creating the first film. I persist to keep the relationship very stubbornly, even though I shouldn't have. That's why the heroine from <A relation(인연)> was pushing away the new guy, and insisted on keeping the relationship with the boyfriend who lived abroad. Even if they might not be together again, the heroine was too stubborn to let it go. But during the process of creating the second film, I found that the heroine was suffered from the relationship with boyfriend, and wish to have new relationship. After struggling between my epic of self and the epic of literary work, I decided to change the epic of <A relation(인연)>. The ending of this story has changed remarkably, so that the heroine excepted the new relationship. The meaning of change the epic of literary work is to adjust my epic of self as well. I found the changed epic of self look alike <A husband who is going to save the stolen wife(괴수에게 잡혀간 아내 구하러 간 남편)>. The husband from <A husband who is going to save the stolen wife(괴수에게 잡혀간 아내 구하러 간 남편)> insisted on continuing the relationship with stolen wife, so he tried to find her hardly. But the stolen wife had already changed her mind by new man who took her from the husband. When the husband finally found the wife, she betrayed him, and tricked him into jail. The husband was almost killed, but the maid who served for the wife was helping the husband. Because of the maid's help, the husband could escape from the jail, and revenged. The reason he can escape and save his life is that he accepts the new relationship with the maid, and immediately broke off relation with betraying wife. The meaning of the process of creating the third film <Love is..(사랑의 진실)> is to ascertain the remained problems of modified epic of self. I had some difficulties providing new epic of literary work for the third film. The reason I found it so hard is that I haven't earned the specific images of modified epic of self yet. In another word, I haven't realized the modified epic of self in the real life, that's why I only have indefinite images of epic of self. The major concern of modified epic of self is 'how to make the relationship valuable, and succeed even if the relationship must be broken up'. I found that <A Centipede Bride(지네각시)> has the same concern as my epic of self. However, the epic of <Love is..(사랑의 진실)> doesn't show the essence of modified epic of self. The epical structure of <Love is..(사랑의 진실)> isn't formed in the epic of literary work. That's why the composed epic of self is alike 'incomplete <A Centipede Bride(지네각시)>'. While I have analyzed the processes of three films, I make a diagnosis that my epic of self is changed from 'failed <Generous Husband(도량 넓은 남편)>' to '<A husband who is going to save the stolen wife(괴수에게 잡혀간 아내 구하러 간 남편)>', then to 'incomplete <A Centipede Bride(지네각시)>'. The principle of composing the epic of self is same as diagnosing the epic of self. The important thing is that all those processes of creating three films are related. In fifth chapter, I verify the principles of the diagnosis and prescription of the epic of self through the processes of creating three films. Also I try to formulate a plot for forth film as the prescription of the third film. It means that the principle of creating a film is same as prescribing for the epic of self
