유치원 교육활동 지도 자료에 수록된 노래의 수준별 특성 및 교수·학습 방법 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 제 6차 유치원 교육활동 지도 자료에 수록된 노래의 수준별 특성 및 수준별 교수·학습방법의 특성에 대해 알아보고, 이들의 수준별 적절성을 파악하여 효과적인 수준별 노래지도를 위한 지침을 마련하기 위함이다.
이에 따른 구체적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다.
1. 교육 활동 지도 자료에 수록된 노래의 조성, 박자, 리듬, 음정, 음역, 길이 측면의 수준별 특성은 어떠한가?
2. 교육 활동 지도 자료에 수록된 노래의 수준별 교수·학습 방법은 어떠한가?
본 연구는 문헌 연구를 통해 이루어 졌으며, 제 6차 유치원 교육 활동 지도 자료에 수록된 노래 96곡을 대상으로 실시하였다. 첫 번째 연구 문제인 노래의 특성을 파악하기 위해 지도 자료집에 수록된 96곡의 악보를 분석하였다. 두 번째 연구 문제인 교수·학습 방법을 파악하기 위해서는 수록된 96곡 중 게임, 신체 활동 등을 위해 제시된 24곡을 제외하고, 새 노래 지도를 위해 제시된 곡 72곡을 분석하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 제 6차 유치원 교육 활동 지도 자료에 수록된 노래의 수준별 특성을 조성, 박자, 음정, 음역, 길이 측면에서 알아본 결과 교육 활동 지도 자료 수록곡은 유아의 수준에 비교적 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 음정이 크고, 음역 또한 유아의 수준에 비해 높은 편이라 유아의 수준에 어렵다는 결과가 나왔지만, 조성, 박자, 음정, 음역, 길이 모두에서 Ⅰ, Ⅱ수준의 특성을 반영하여, 난이도 차이를 고려한 곡의 배치를 하였던 점으로 미루어 보아, 수준별 적절성을 감안하였다 할 수 있었다.
둘째, 제 6차 유치원 교육 활동 지도 자료에 수록된 노래의 수준별 교수 방법은 수준별 적절성을 고려하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 새노래 지도 과정을 세부적으로 파악하여 수준별 특성을 비교한 결과, 수준별 차이점이 거의 드러나지 않았다. 또한 생활주제별로 노래 지도 방법에 대한 서술 방식이 자세한 경우도 있고, 대략적으로 제시한 경우도 있는 등 차이가 커서 일률적인 기준으로 파악하는 데 어려움이 있었다. 노래 지도 방법에 대한 기존의 연구에서도 수준별 노래 지도 방법에 대한 구체적인 제안이 되어 있는 경우가 없고, 각 노래 지도 단계의 필요성 및 교육적 효과에 대한 연구도 부족하여 구체적인 기준 마련이 필요함을 알 수 있다.
결과를 보면 동요의 수준은 수준별 적절성을 비교적 고려하였지만, 교수·학습 측면에서는 수준별 적절성이 고려되지 않았음을 알 수 있다. 유아의 수준을 고려한 동요 선정을 하되, 유아의 특성과 상황을 고려한 융통성 있는 선정이 필요하고, 교수·학습 측면에 있어서 연령별, 시기별 유아의 특성을 고려한 교수·학습 방법에 대한 고려가 필요하며, 교수·학습 방법의 다양성 도모를 위한 노력이 요구된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the songs in the 6th national kindergarten curriculum according to level. To put it concretely, it was examined the features of the songs in the national kindergarten curriculum according to a pitch, a tempo, rhythm, a tone, musical range and a length and was examined the songs' teaching processes in the curriculum. And it was examine to provide appropriate and effective ways to teach songs, especially considered the children's level.
The major questions of this study were as follows:
1. What is the features of the songs in the national kindergarten curriculum as a pitch, a tempo, rhythm, a tone, musica range, length according to the levels?
2. How is the songs' teaching method in the national kindergarten curriculum according to the levels?
The subjects in this study were the ninety six song in the 6th national kindergarten curriculum. To survey the first question, the whole ninety six songs were examined. And to survey the second question, seventy two songs were examined except the twenty four songs that were suggested for other activities such as a game or physical exercise.
The results of the study were as follows:
1. The songs in the national kindergarten curriculum had level- appropriateness upon a pitch, a tempo, rhythm, a tone, musical range and length one with another. Although the tone and musical range were somewhat hard for children to sing, the total tendency was appropriate according to children's level.
2. The songs in the 6th national kindergarten weren't appropriated to the children's level as a whole. As examined the processes of the teaching, it didn't appeared the differences according to level. And the processes of the teaching had a gap each other. In other words, some processes had mentioned the teaching method in details, but other processes had mentioned the method in brief. So it was difficult to examine the whole processes with the same standard.
In the basis of the above results suggestions are as follows;
1. It needs to choose the songs that have level-appropriateness and to have the adaptability to individual children's characteristics and surroundings.
2. It needs some consideration over the age categories and the time of the year when teachers teach the new songs to their children.
3. The methods of teaching songs should be diverse.
