태권도 집단유형에 따른 코치의 거래적·변혁적 리더십과 성취목표지향성 및 선수태도의 인과적 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 태권도 집단유형에 따른 거래적·변혁적 리더십과 성취목표지향성 및 선수태도 간의 인과적 관계를 규명함으로써, 태권도 코치들이 집단의 특성에 따른 리더십유형의 이론적틀을 구축하여 지도자와 선수간의 상호보완적인 작용으로 경기력 향상에 이바지 하고자 한다. 연구대상은 2007년 현재 대한태권도 협회에 선수등록이 된 태권도 선수들 중 고등학교. 대학교. 실업팀을 모집단으로 선정하였으며, 표집은 유층집락무선표본추출 방법을 사용하여 최종적으로 877부를 활용하였다. 자료처리에 있어서는 SPSS 14.0과 AMOS 7.0 프로그램을 활용하여 가설검증은 상관관계분석과 각 집단별로 경로분석을 실시하였다. 이상과 같은 절차를 거쳐 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 집단에 따른 거래적·변혁적 리더십의 관련요인과 성취목표지향성의 과제목표지향성, 자아목표지향성 간의 인과정도의 형태는 다른 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 집단에 따른 거래적·변혁적 리더십의 관련요인과 선수태도의 리더만족, 리더효과, 추가적 노력, 리더신뢰, 가치일치 간의 인과정도의 형태는 다른 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 집단에 따른 성취목표지향성의 관련요인과 선수태도의 리더만족, 리더효과, 추가적 노력, 리더신뢰, 가치일치 간의 인과정도의 형태는 다른 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 집단에 따른 간접효과에 대한 인과정도의 형태가 다른 것으로 나타났으며, 선수태도에 있어서 관련요인간의 간접효과가 있는 것으로 나타나 성취목표지향성이 매개변인임을 증명할 수 있다.
결론적으로 변혁적 리더십의 카리스마와 지적관리요인이 선수태도의 전반적인 변인에 있어서 상관관계 분석에서 r=.5이상의 정적인 상관관계를 나타내고 있으며, 각 집단의 경로분석에 있어서도 모든 집단에 전반적으로 유의성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 변혁적 리더십의 카리스마와 지적관리요인이 선수태도의 전반적인 변인에 매우 강한 관련성이 있음을 나타내고 있다. 따라서 태권도 집단의 지도자는 각 집단의 특성에 맞는 거래적 리더십과 변혁적 리더십의 상호 조화를 이룬 리더십을 갖춤으로써 효율적으로 선수를 관리할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objective of the present study was to contribute to the improvement of athletic performance through mutually supplementary interaction between coaches and athletics by determining the causal relation among transactional·transformational leadership, achievement goal orientation and athletic attitude according to the type of taekwondo group and formulating a theoretical frame of leadership type according to the characteristic of taekwondo coach group. The subjects of this study were selected through stratified cluster random sampling from taekwondo athletes at high schools, universities and companies who were registered at the Korea Taekwondo Association currently as of 2007, and a total of 877 questionnaires were used in the final analysis. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 14.0 and AMOS 7.0, and hypotheses were tested through correlation analysis and path analysis for each group. Through the procedure were drawn conclusions as follows.
First, the degree of causal relation type between the factors related to transactional·transformational leadership and the task goal orientation and self goal orientation of achievement goal orientation was different among the groups.
Second, the degree of causal relation type between the factors related to transactional·transformational leadership and leader satisfaction, leader effect, additional effort, leader trust and value congruence of athletic attitude was different among the groups.
Third, the degree of causal relation type between the factors related to achievement goal orientation and leader satisfaction, leader effect, additional effort, leader trust and value congruence of athletic attitude was different among the groups.
Fourth, there were a different causal relation type over indirect effects according to groups, and were indirect effects among the related factors of athletic attitude, and this suggests that achievement goal orientation is an intervening variable.
In conclusion, the charisma and intellectual management factors of transformational leadership were in a positive correlation (r>.5) with the variables of athletic attitude, and in path analysis for each group, the correlation was generally significant for all the groups. This suggests that the charisma and intellectual management factors of transformational leadership are strongly correlated with the general variables of athletic attitude. Accordingly, taekwondo coaches may be able to manage taekwondo athletes efficiently through equipping themselves with both transactional leadership and transformational leadership harmoniously in accordance with the characteristic of each group.
