태권도이벤트에 대한 지역사회 의식 및 협력의사에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate how Taekwondo events are related to sense of community and local residents' cooperative intention
The first 500 subjects selected using convenient sampling method were among the local residents residing in Chuncheon during "2007 Chuncheon Open International Taekwondo Competition" held from June 29 to July 4 , 2007 in Kwangwondo Chuncheon. And 460 were used for data analysis except for 40 poor and insincere answers. For data process, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, one-way ANOVA were employed using the SPSS V13.0 program, and after confirmatory factor analysis was made to verify the construct validity of each measurement model using the AMOS 5.0 program, the validity of the theory model was verified by covariance structure analysis.
Results are as follows.
First, there was partial difference in Taekwondo events according to individual characteristics. There showed significant difference in the environmental variable, but no significant difference in the economic and industrial variable, the sociocultural variable
Second, there was significant difference in sense of community according to individual characteristics. Emotion showed significant difference in sex, age, income level, and resident period, participation desires showed difference in age, resident period, cognition of integration showed difference in sex, educational level, and evaluation showed difference in sex, resident period.
Third, there was partial difference in sense of community according to individual characteristics. Volunteer participation intension showed significant difference in age, direct participation intention showed difference in sex, resident period, and recommendation intention showed difference in sex. But no difference was shown in cooperative intention, and in the participation intention of public hearing.
Fourth, the effect recognition of Taekwondo events had an significant effect on the sense of community.
Fifth, the sense of community had an significant effect on cooperation intention
Sixth, the direct effect that the effect recognition of Taekwondo events influenced the sense of community was .793, the direct effect that the sense of community had an effect on cooperation intention was .730 and the indirect effect that the effect recognition of Taekwondo events influenced cooperation intention through the sense of community was . 579.
In sum, these results implie that Taekwondo events being held in local communities contribute to elevate the sense of community and based on this sense of community, leading residents' participation and cooperation to event related activities can help Taekwondo events settle down in local communities.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 태권도이벤트 효과 인식이 지역사회 의식 및 협력의사에 관여하고 있는지를 실증적으로 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 선행연구 결과와 가설적 모형을 기초로 하여 태권도이벤트 효과 인식과 지역사회 인식, 협력의사의 관계모형을 설정한 다음 구조방정식모형(SEM: structural equation model)을 통하여 변인간의 인과적 관계를 규명하였다. 연구대상은 2007년 6월 29일부터 7월 4일까지 강원도 춘천시에서 개최되는 “2007 CHUNCHEON OPEN 국제태권도대회” 기간 중 춘천시에 거주하고 있는 지역주민을 모집단으로 선정한 다음 편의표본추출법을 이용하여 460명을 표집 하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS V13.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석(frequency analysis), 탐색적 요인분석(exploratory factor analysis), 일원변량분석(one-way ANOVA)을 실시하였으며, AMOS 5.0 프로그램을 이용하여 각 측정모형의 구성타당도(construct validity)를 검증하기 위해 확인적 요인분석(confirmatory factor analysis)을 실시한 후, 이론모형의 적합도를 공변량 구조분석(covariance structure analysis)으로 검증하였다.
이상과 같은 연구방법 및 자료 분석 결과를 기초로 하여 이 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 개인적 특성에 따라 태권도이벤트 효과 인식의 경제?산업적, 사회?문화적 변수에는 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 거주기간에 따라 환경적 측면에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 개인적 특성의 성, 연령, 소득수준, 거주기간에 따라 지역사회 의식의 감정에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 연령, 거주기간에 따라 참가의욕에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 성, 교육수준에 따라 통합인지에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 성, 거주기간에 따라 평가에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 개인적 특성에 따라 협력의사의 공청회 참가의사에는 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났고, 연령에 따라 자원봉사 참가의사에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 성, 거주기간에 따라 직접 참가의사에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 성에 따라 추천의사에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 태권도이벤트 효과 인식은 지역사회 인식에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.
다섯째, 지역사회 인식은 협력의사에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.
여섯째, 태권도이벤트 효과 인식이 지역사회 인식에 미치는 직접효과는 .793으로 나타났다. 지역사회 인식이 협력의사에 미치는 직접효과는 .730으로 나타났으며, 태권도이벤트 효과 인식이 지역사회 인식을 통해서 협력의사에 미치는 간접효과는 .579로 나타났다.
즉, 지역사회에서 개최되는 태권도이벤트는 지역사회에 대한 의식을 높이는 데고 공헌을 하고 있으며, 이러한 지역사회 의식은 태권도이벤트에 대한 지역주민의 협력의사에 긍정적으로 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 지역사회 의식을 바탕으로 이벤트에 제반되는 활동에 지역주민들이 적극적인 참여와 협력을 유도함으로써 태권도이벤트를 지역사회에 정착시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
