The influences of mother's attitude of child-rearing, self-regulating, social Competence, social intelligence on children's ability to solve interpersonal problem

(Abstract)
This research is to identify the influences of mother's attitude of rearing children, self-regulating, social competence, social intelligence on children's ability to solve interpersonal problems from the integrated point of view.
The targets were four to five year-old small children going to kindergarten and nursey in Seoul and Kyungbuk areas, their mothers - a total of 411-, and 26 teachers of them. The data was analyzed using path analysis of the AMOS 7.0 program, and then the statistical significance of each path coefficient was verified at the .01 significance level.
The following summarizes the results from the study.
First, mother's attitude of child-rearing had a direct influence on the child's social intelligence, self-regulating, social competence, interpersonal problem solving.
Second, child's self-regulating directly influenced their abilities to solve interpersonal problems.
Third, child's social intelligence was directly related to their self-regulating, social competence, interpersonal problem solving.
Fourth, child's social competence had a direct impact on their self-regulating, interpersonal problem solving.
