학교 평생교육에 대한 초등교사의 인식 = Primary School Teachers' Perceptions on School-Based Lifelong Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교에서 실시하는 평생교육에 관한 초등교사의 인식을 고찰하는 데 있다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같이 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 초등교사는 초등학교의 평생교육 필요성 여부에 대해 어떻게 인식하는가? 둘째, 초등교사는 초등학교 평생교육 프로그램 유형인 학부모교실, 지역주민교실, 방과 후 학교, 교사연수 및 학습동아리에 대해 어떻게 인식하는가? 셋째, 초등교사는 초등학교 평생교육 활성화 방안에 대해 어떻게 인식하는가?
본 연구의 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 초등학교에서 평생교육의 필요성여부에 대한 인식은 활동이 필요하다는 응답이 85%로 전반적으로 높은 인식을 보였다. 평생교육을 통해 교육기회격차 현상을 줄일 수 있어 필요하다는 응답이 가장 높았으며, 홍보와 인식의 부족으로 형식적인 실시가 문제라는 응답이 39.3%, 초등학교 정규교육에 지장을 준다가 28.6%로 응답되었다.
둘째, 초등학교 평생교육 프로그램 활동에 대한 인식은 학부모교실은 78.5%가 필요하다고 응답하였으며, 그 이유로는 자녀를 이해하는데 도움이 된다가 가장 높게 나타났다. 맞벌이 부부가 많아지면서 학부모 수강생 모집이 어려운 점이 문제라는 응답이 54.5%로 응답되었다. 지역주민교실은 필요하지 않다는 부정적 응답이 45%로 무시할 수 없는 수준이었다. 지역주민의 평생교육에 대한 접근성·용이성을 높일 수는 있지만 실질적으로 지역주민들의 관심이 부족하고 적극적인 참여가 이루어지지 않는 점이 문제라고 나타났다. 초등교사 연수 및 학습동아리는 96%가 필요하다고 응답하여 상당히 긍정적인 인식을 보였다. 계속적인 학습으로 자기개발에 도움이 되지만 초등교사의 업무구조로 인해 참여하는데 어려움이 많다고 응답되었다. 방과 후 학교는 91.5%가 필요하다고 나타났다. 학생의 취미·흥미·창의성 신장에 효과가 있다는 점에서 가장 필요하고, 방과 후 학교 운영업무를 초등교사가 담당함으로 인해 업무량이 가중되는 게 문제라는 응답이 가장 높았다.
셋째, 초등학교 평생교육 활성화 방안에 대한 인식은 ‘평생교육 전문가’ 배치여부정도는 배치해야 한다가 가장 높았고, 활성화 저해요인으로는 평생교육에 대한 전반적인 홍보와 인식, 시설이 열악하고 관리가 미흡하다고 응답되었다. 대상을 확대하는 방안으로는 어린자녀를 둔 학부모를 위해 놀이방 시설 병행이 46.5%로 가장 높았고, 지역노인을 위한 신선한 프로그램이 20%로 나타났다. 지역특색을 살릴 수 있는 다양한 프로그램 개발이 중요하고, 학부모교실의 활성화를 위해 학부모들의 이해와 인식이 우선 이루어져야 하며, 학교장 및 교사의 인식과 마인드가 선행되어야 한다는 인식을 보였다. 지역주민교실의 활성화를 위해서는 지역주민의 요구조사와 부합하는 프로그램의 실시가 가장 중요하며, 방과 후 학교의 활성화를 위해서는 지역의 우수한 인적자원(외부강사)의 활용이 중요하다는 응답이 53.0%로 나타났다. 초등교사의 의식을 높이는 활성화방안으로는 평생교육에 대한 인식의 전환이 선행되어야 한다는 응답이 52%, 연수기회를 확대해야 한다가 32%로 응답되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose of this study is consideration of the primary school teacher' perceptions on lifelong education. And, studying problems were created in order to achieve the purpose. First, primary school teachers how to recognize about necessity lifelong education on primary school? Second, how to recognize lifelong education of programs such as a study on the elementary schools parents, dismissal of a class after a school, local residence class, a teacher the number of years, study a part?
Third, how to recognize about revitalization plans on the lifelong education?
In this study, summary results are under like those.
First, the recognition against the necessity of life-long education from the elementary school showed high generally with 85%, and the answers showed that an education chance difference will be reduced by life-long education, and the answers to which of public information and recognition the type execution were problem in insufficiency 39.3%, the answers which gives a hindrance to elementary school formal education were 28.6%.
Second, the answers which parents department class will need on the elementary school life-long education were 78.5%, because it showed the program will help to understand their sons and daughters. But it showed 54.5% answers that parents trainee recruitment is difficult as two-earner come to be high. Also, negation answer which the local resident classroom is not necessary will not be able to disregard with 45%. Even though it can be raising access to local resident, attention of the local resident lacks and positive participation does not become accomplished. And they answered 96% that studying and training of elementary teacher is necessary.
In continuous studying becomes the help in self-development but it is caused by with business structure of the elementary teacher and difficult participation. The school after dismissal of a class appeared that 91.5% is necessary. Although it has effected to interesting and hobby, the business quantity will be high added as charge of school after dismissal of a class.
Third, the recognition against elementary school life-long education activation plan the life-long education specialist arrangement yes or no degree must arrange most to be high, the general public information against a life-long education and recognition and facility are inferior with the activation hindrance VIP and that the civil official is insufficient, answer back. With the plan which magnifies the object the freshness one program the area old person the parents who puts the young sons and daughter is high most with hazard playing room facility, parallel this 46.5% for appeared with 20%. The area thuk the program development which is various is the possibility of saving a color was important, department alma mater disappointment activation the gain and loss and recognition of the hazard parents did to become accomplished first of all, the school market and recognition and mind of the teacher must precede were visible a recognition. Activation of the local resident classroom hazard the execution of the program which corresponds with the demand investigation of the local resident which stands was most important, activation of the school after dismissal of a class hazard the application of the human resource(external lecturer) which the area where it stands is excellent importance is answer back appeared with 53.0%. Conversion of the recognition against a life-long education must precede the answer back 52%, must magnify an annual income chance answer back with 32.0% with the activation plan which raises the ceremony of the elementary teacher.
