대학 농구 선수들의 진로장벽과 진로결정 자기 효능감 및 진로정체감의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학 농구선수들의 진로장벽이 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로정체감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 2007년 농구 대잔치에 참가를 준비 중인 10개 농구선수단을 모집(population)으로 하였다. 모집단으로 선정된 연구 대상자 중 경기에 참가한 대학 농구선수들을 임의표집 방법을 이용하여 표본 집단(sample group)으로 선정하였으며, 조사 대상자는 총 138명이다.
조사도구는 설문지로서 국내 선행연구에서 이미 그 신뢰도 및 타당도가 검증된 척도이나, 이를 본 연구에 맞게 수정·보완한 후 예비조사를 통하여 설문내용의 적합성과 적용가능성을 검토한 후 타당도 및 신뢰도를 검증한 후 사용하였다. 설문조사를 통하여 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위하여 사용한 통계기법은 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다.
이와 같은 연구방법 및 절차를 통하여 본 연구에서 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다.
첫째, 대학 농구선수들의 진로장벽이 진로결정 자기효능감의 하위요인인 목표선택에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 대학 농구선수들의 진로장벽이 진로결정 자기효능감의 하위요인인 직업정보에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 대학 농구선수들의 진로장벽이 진로결정 자기효능감의 하위요인인 문제해결에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 대학 농구선수들의 진로장벽이 진로정체감의 하위요인인 자신의 이해에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과, 정보부족, 경제문제 요인만이 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며 경제문제의 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.
다섯째, 대학 농구선수들의 진로장벽이 진로정체감의 하위요인인 능력자신감에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과 진로정보의 이해 경제문제 요인만이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
여섯째, 대학 농구선수들의 진로장벽이 진로정체감의 하위요인인 진로정보이해에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과 정보부족 요인만이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research was to investigate impact of career barriers of college basket players on the sense of self-efficacy and of career block concerned with their career decisions.
To test this, 138 participants were sampled from the basket ball players of 10 universities who had been preparing for 2007 basketball completion and festival, and the resulting data were used accordingly.
The survey instrument was a questionnaire. Although the reliability and validity of the scales therein were already verified by the precedent research works done locally, it was revised and complemented to fit the research purpose, then after, the appropriateness and applicability of the contents of the questionnaire were reviewed through means of pre-survey, and then the validity as well as the reliability thereof were verified before use.
To analyze data gathered through survey statistically, multi-regression analysis was conducted.
Through the aforesaid research methods and procedures, the following results were elicited.
First, results from analysis showed that the barriers that thwart the college basket players’ careers had no significant impact on problem solving, job information, and goal setting, which are sub-variables of a sense of self-efficacy concerned with career decision.
Second, results from investigation about the influence of the career barriers of the college basketball players on their self-understanding, which is the sub-variable of a sense of career block, indicated that factors, such as lacking of information, and economic issues had significant influence on their self-understanding only, and that, especially economic issues affected on their self-understanding more greatly.
Third, results from investigation about influence of career barriers of the college basketball players on the sense of confidence in their ability, which is a sub-variable of the players’ sense of career block revealed that such factors as understanding information concerning about their future career path, and factors relating to economic issues had significant influences on the sense of confidence in their ability.
Fourth, results from investigation of the influence of the college basketball players’ career barriers on their understanding about information relating to future career, which is a sub-variable of the sense of career block, revealed that only the factor, such as lack of information, had significant influence on their understanding about information for their future career.
