초등학교 관악합주를 위한 프로그램 개발 연구 : 4.5.6학년 관악합주단원을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

초등학교 관악합주단 활동은 음악성의 계발, 음악 영재의 조기 발굴, 어린이들이 지닌 음악적 욕구의 충족 등과 같은 음악적 가치뿐만 아니라 단체 활동을 통해 자주성과 협동심을 배양하고 올바른 심성과 풍부한 정서 함양에 도움을 주는 등 사회적?교육적 가치도 지니고 있다. 이러한 이유로 최근 들어 초등학교 관악합주단이 활성화 되어 많은 학교에서 운영을 하고 있으나 초등학교 지도교사의 전문성 부족 및 체계적인 운영 프로그램의 부재로 인해 운영상의 어려움도 많은 것도 사실이다.
따라서 본 연구에서는 초등학교 관악합주단의 효율적 운영을 통한 관악합주단의 연주력 향상을 목표로 관악합주를 위한 여러 지도 방법을 모색해 보고, 방과후학교와 연계한 체계적인 관악합주단 운영 프로그램을 구안하고 적용하여 보았다.
먼저 문헌 분석을 통하여 기악합주활동의 교육적 의미를 살펴보았으며, 관악합주에 사용되는 악기, 관악합주 편성 이론, 관악합주에 대한 선행연구 등을 통하여 본 연구의 목적을 설정하고 다음과 같이 연구를 실시하였다.
초등학생의 수준에 맞게 연습의 효율성을 기하고 체계적인 운영 시스템의 확립을 위하여 위계가 있는 단계로 지도 방법을 설정하였는데 기초 연주 기능의 지도, 개인연습, 악기 파트별 연습, 그룹별 연습, 합주 연습 등 으로 설정하여 운영하였다. 각 단계는 순서대로 진행을 하는 것이 아니라 유기적으로 연결되 이루어져야 하는데 이를 위하여 연간 운영 프로그램을 포함한 관악합주단 운영 프로그램이 편성되어 이에 따라 운영되어야 할 필요성을 느꼈다.
이에 따라 기존의 방과후학교 교육프로그램을 활용하고 위에서 언급한 각 단계별 연습을 적절히 편성한 체계적인 운영 프로그램을 운영하였으며 자기표현의 기회 확대 및 학교 행사와의 연관성을 고려한 연간 운영 프로그램을 계획하여 연간 운영하였다.
이와 같은 관악합주단 운영 프로그램에 따른 초등학교 관악합주단의 운영은 관악합주단 중심으로 방과후학교의 강좌를 운영함으로써 악곡에 대한 표현력이 향상되어 관악합주단 전체의 연주력이 향상됨을 물론 방과후학교 강좌의 내실화도 기할 수 있었다. 또한, 기존의 관악합주단이 각종 경연대회나 연주회 위주의 연습에 중점이 되어 운영된 것과 달리 체계적이고 계획적인 연간 프로그램을 운영함으로써, 관악합주단 활동의 다양화를 가져와 단원의 흥미와 내적동기를 유발하는 효과가 있었다. 이러한 흥미와 내적 동기는 다른 교과영역에도 확산이 되어 학업 증진 및 정서 함양에 도움이 되었다.
본 연구가 초등학교 관악합주단 운영의 활성화에 작은 디딤돌이 되길 바라며 이를 바탕으로 보다 더 체계적인 초등학교 관악합주단 운영 프로그램에 대한 활발한 연구가 있기를 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The activity of wind instrument bands in elementary school has a social and educational value in addition to a musical value because it not only develops the musical talent of the students, finds the talented people early, and fulfills the musical interests of the young children, but it also fosters their independent spirit and cooperation and helps them develop a healthy character with rich emotions. Because of this reason, many wind instrument bands in elementary school are activated and run by many schools, but due to the lack of professional knowledge of the instructors and the lack of systematic operation programs, many problems are occurring in the process of management.
Therefore, this paper aims to seek many ways to instruct concerted performance using wind instruments in order to improve the performance of the wind instrument bands through efficient management and proposed and applied a systematic operation program for wind instrument bands as an after-class activity.
First, through analysis of literatures, the study examined the educational meaning of the concerted musical performance, and through preliminary research on the instruments used and theories applied in wind instrument concerted music, the purpose of this study was established and carried out as follows.
The efficiency of practice was adjusted for the level of elementary school students, and for firmly establishing a systematic operation system, the instruction method was set with the steps and ranks. They were the instruction of basic playing, individual practice, practice of instrument by part, group practice, concerted practice, etc. These steps should not be run in any order, but they must be connected organically. To do this, a wind-instrument band operation program, including an annually operating program, must be prepared and managed accordingly.
Therefore, the existing education programs after class were utilized and the practice at each step mentioned above was incorporated into an efficient operation program and was operated annually by planning the annual operation program that considered the expansion of opportunities for self-expression and the connection with the school events.
The management of wind instrument bands in elementary school according to this program improved the musical performance of the band by improving the players’ musical expression learned in after-class lectures and also contributed to the establishment of after-class lectures. Also, unlike the fact that previous wind-instrument bands had their practice focused on various concerts and events, a systematic and planned annual program was operated to diversify the activities of the wind-instrument bands and therefore to induce the members’ interest and internal motivation. This interest and internal motivation extended to other subjects and helped the students with studying and fostering their emotion.
This study should be used for activating the operation of wind-instrument bands and based on the results of this study, it is hoped that a more active research will be conducted for a more systematic operation program for wind-instrument bands in elementary school.
