      The purpose of this study was to figure out the methods of how digital pictures could be utilized so as for students surrounded by electronic media to get familiarized in the writing of travel sketches, to richly express the basic requirements of an account of travel such as itinerary, information and appreciation and to have a better account of travel.
      When there was a lack of itinerary, information and appreciation in students' account of travel, the methods of teaching how the utilization of picture images could supplement and enrich it would be suggested as in the following.
      First, it was to distinguish information from appreciation. In order to distinguish information from appreciation in the travel sketches that were mixed with both of them, the method of utilizing digital pictures would be writing an account by separating the pictures with figures from those without figures. In doing so, once could teach students how to do writing clearly with theme and focus.
      Second, students should be taught to express something familiar as unfamiliarly. In case that selected digital pictures were familiar scenes, they would be information. When students expressed digital pictures unfamiliarly, they would be appreciation. Then, they were taught to depict what scenes would be different from previous counterparts and to express something familiar as unfamiliarly through digital pictures.
      Third, it was about a method of arranging digital pictures after they finished writing. By arranging digital pictures, students could learn how to correct their writing. Digital Pictures should be arranged basically corresponding to the content and flow of writing and they should be in harmony with the writing visually, too.
      It would not be supplementing what was lack in written language in a form of digital pictures, but to have a synergy effect through the harmonious encounter of digital pictures and written language to utilize them in writing. Writing would be more realistic with digital pictures, while digital pictures would be more vivid writing. Through digital pictures, it would be possible to have good writing and to have good digital pictures through good writing. While recognizing the uniqueness of each of picture images and written language, the researcher of this study could confirm the possibility to pioneer new fields of writing by having both of them combined.
