    The object of this research is to know how Mother's Child­Rearing Attitudes affect her children's Ego Identity and Career Maturity. and to contribute to academic and career counseling of middle school students and form Ego Identity truly through efficient parents education program based on the result of the research.
    The subject of research was the 259 2nd grade students(133 boys, 126 girls) and the 236 3rd grade students(113 boys, 123 girls) of E middle school(coeducation) located in Daejeon, and the method of measurement was survey about Mother's Child­Rearing Attitudes, Ego Identity, Career Maturity
    There was a difference between Mother's Child­Rearing Attitudes and Ego Identity. Boys had more positive thought about Mother's Child­Rearing Attitudes, and show intimacy and interaction.
    Also, the relationship between Ego Identity and Career Maturity can be seemed to affect the degree of the middle school student's agreement about their course whether Mother's Child­Rearing Attitudes is positive or negative.
