For this study, it was assumed that parents' achievement pressure and children's trust for their parents would importantly affect children's psychological well-being and adaptation to school life(attitude for math, academic achievement and learning motivation).
Furthermore, this study is intended to research the effect that parents' achievement pressure for their children's psychological well-being and adaptation to school life is different from how much their trust.
Based on such assumptions, the following study points were set up ; The first, how would parents' achievement pressure be correlated with their children's psychological well-being? The second, how would parents' achievement pressure be correlated with children's adaptation to school life? The third, how would trust be correlated with children's psychological well-being? The fourth, how would trust be correlated with children's adaptation to school life? The fifth, The effect that parents' achievement pressure influenced children's psychological well-being and adaptation to school life follows in the level of trust and it is a something else?
The study was performed to executes with 361 children, who were in the 4th and 6th grade in elementary school.
The results are as below.
The first, the relation between parents' achievement pressure and psychological well-being was studied, the result was that achievement pressure had a negative correlation with children's psychological well-being. it was found that higher achievement pressure negatively formed psychological well-being.
The second, It shows fathers' pressure and mothers' pressure is high correlated with between them. If The level one of them comes to be more higher, the other would be high.
The third, It was found that the more trust were, children were more positive psychological well-being and the fewer trust were, children were fewer negative psychological well-being.
The fourth, the trust were significant children's adaptation to school life. The more trust were, children were more positive attitude for math and learning motivation. The fewer trust were, children were fewer negative attitude for math and helpless.
All in all, it was confirmed through this study that childrens'trust for their parents would be an important factor determining their psychological well-being and adaptation to school life.
