노인의 성적 권리에 관한 연구 = (The) Research for the sexual rights of elderly people

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 우리 나라는 인구구조의 변화에 따라 노령층의 인구가 급속한 비율로 증가하는 양상을 보이고 있어 2023년에는 노인 인구의 비율을 12.5%로 추계하고 있다(신성례, 1996). 건강의 개념이 궁극적으로는 삶의 질 향상의 관점으로 변화되면서 증가하는 노인 인구의 삶의 질을 유지, 증진하기 위해서는 다양한 인지적, 정서적, 정신적, 육체적 욕구의 충족의 중요성이 대두되면서 건강요원의 다각적 접근의 필요성이 시대적으로 요구되고 있다.
우리 모두는 누구도 노년으로부터 자유로울 수 는 없을 것이다.
인간의 기본 욕구 중의 하나인 ‘성’은 사람에게 가장 중요한 문제의 하나로서 외국에서는 여러 가지 시각에서 생각되어 왔고 논의되어 왔다.
반면, 전통주의적 가치관의 지배를 받고 있는 기성세대는 노년기 성에 관해서는 거의 관심 밖의 일이었다고 해도 과언이 아니었으나 최근 노인들의 성생활에서 노년기의 성문제는 간과할 수 없는 사회문제로 제시되고 있다.
노인문제 중에서 소득, 보건의료, 주거, 복지서비스 등이 점차적으로 증가하고 있지만, 인간의 기본 욕구라고 할 수 있는 노인의 성(性)에 대한 논의는 사회적 측면에서 이루어지지 못하고 있는 것이 우리의 현실이다.
따라서 노인의 성생활 실태와 성적 권리로서의 노인의 성을 사회복지적 측면에서 보장 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
노년기의 성은 신체적, 정서적, 사회적, 차원의 기본적 욕구이자 친밀성의 교류를 통해 자신의 존재의미와 자아발전과도 연결되는 근원적이며 창조적인 힘으로 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
본 연구결과를 통해 노인의 성생활은 노후생활에 큰 역할을 차지하며, 삶의 만족도를 높여주고 심리적인 안정감을 갖게 해준다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 60세 이상 노인 250명에게 물었더니 가족들 눈치 보며 한 달에 한두 번, 노인 10명중 6명은 성생활을 지속하고 있는 것으로 나타났다(중앙일보,2003. 10.31). 즉 노인의 ‘성(性)’이 현재 진행형임을 확인시켜 주고 있다. 이제 우리사회도 보다 만족스럽고 행복한 노년 생활을 영위할 수 있도록 그들의 관점에서 그들의 생각을 경청하는 자세가 필요하다.
노인의 성에 대한 부정적인 사회적 태도를 바꾸어 노년 생활의 질적 향상에 일조 하여야 할 것이다.
노인들 스스로도 노년의 성생활이 수치스럽거나 죄악이 아니라 인간의 기본적인 권리라는 것을 인식하는 것이 중요하다고 하겠다. 그러므로 사회적 환경을 긍정적이고 적극적으로 만들어 갈 필요가 있다.
따라서 노인의 성생활과 재혼, 이성교제 등은 인간관계의 회복을 의미하는 것임을 밝히고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, the rate of old age is taken on a new aspect as it increases rapidly, and estimated 12.5% in 2023 in this country, because of changing population structure.
The notion for health is changed to elevation of the quality of life. And the maintaining and promoting for quality of life of increased elderly people rises the importance of the sufficiency of such as various knowledgeable, emotional, spiritual, and physical desire in this time. The personnel for health is required them to multiple approaching. No one goes old age. Sex, one of the fundamental human desire, is the one of the importance in human being and it is considered and discussed several view other countries.
The other hand, the older generation who is under control traditional thought was out of interest but elderly people's sexual issue become an object of public concern not to be overlooked.
Even though income, medical service, and housing expenses, etc is getting better in elderly people's issue, the discussion of their sexual issue that is the foundational desire of human being does not deal with the problem from a social angle and it is our situation.
Therefore, the actual condition of the sexual life of elderly people and the sex of them as a sexual privilege will be come up with a plan for ensuring in social welfare.
Sex of an old age works on the power of the original and creative for them, that is connected reason for being and self development of themselves through fundamental desire and close relationship such as healthy, emotional, social dimension. The research shows that the sexual life of an old age accounts for an important part, rises the satisfaction of life, and bestows psychological stability to them. They have a sexual intercourse once twice a month, and six out of ten are carry on it in the questionary witch asked 250 of elderly people over 60 years. That show the sex of elderly people is the present progressive. Now, our attitude has to change to hear their view and thought in society that they live to satisfy in their ages
It has to be changed to see the sexual life of elderly people in social and help them to be better their living
Old ages, themselves do not have to think that sexual life is disgraceful behavior or a sense of sin either, but it is important to understand that their sexual intercourse is fundamental human rights.
Social surrounding has changed affirmatively and positively.
This research shows that the sexual life, remarriage, and the relationship of other sex of an old age is the recovery of human relationship.
