일반계 고등학교에서의 학교 상담의 실태 및 인식 연구 = (A) study on the school counselling in high schools

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 현재 일반계 고등학교에서 이루어지고 있는 학교상담의 실태 및 교사와 학생들의 인식을 조사하여 그 문제점을 분석한다. 학생들에게 실질적이고 합리적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 학교상담의 방향을 제시하기 위해 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다.
첫째, 김해시 일반계 고등학교 교육현장에서 이루어지고 있는 학교 상담 현황 및 이용 실태는 어떠한가?
둘째, 교사와, 학생들은 각기 학교 상담에 대해 어떠한 인식을 갖고 있는가?
셋째, 학교상담활동의 저해요인은 무엇인가?
연구의 결과, 경력 9년 이하의 교사는 경력 10년 이상의 교사보다 현재 제도 및 실태에 만족을 못하는 것으로 나타났으며, 상담 장소, 상담 시간대, 주요상담 내용, 상담의 저해 요인 등은 교사의 경력과 상관없이 거의 일치하였다.
학생의 경우, 상담실의 위치는 남학생은 외부와 차단된 곳을 선호하였고, 여학생은 쉽게 드나들 수 있는 곳을 선호하였고 상담교사와 상담의 필요성은 남학생보다 여학생의 인식도가 높고, 중위권 학생들이 긍정적인 인식을 보였다. 스스로 자진하여 상담 받은 횟수는 성별, 성적에 상관없이 전혀 없다가 가장 높았고, 상담을 받은 경우는 호출에 의한 상담이 가장 많았다. 학교 상담이 활성화되지 않는 이유로는 성별, 성적에 상관없이 도움이 되지 않을 것 같다와 비밀 보장이 되지 않을 것 같다는 인식이 가장 높았다.
학교 상담이 활성화되어 학생에게 바람직한 도움을 주기 위해서 가장 중요한 것은 교사와 각 학교에서 상담 업무를 맡고 있는 상담 교사들이 상담에 대한 긍지와 열의를 가지고 희생적으로 자기 연찬을 하고, 상담으로 학생을 돕겠다는 헌신과 정성을 쏟는 것이라 할 수 있겠다. 교사의 정성과 열의, 노력과 헌신이 학교 상담의 발전의 최고 비결이라 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this research, actual condition and recognition of teachers and students on counselling at general high school are investigated and problems are analyzed. To suggest a way of counselling that can give students substantial and rational help, I set up questions as follows.
Firstly, what are the present condition and realities of use on counselling attained at general high schools in Kimhae city?
Secondly, what kind of understanding the teachers and students have on counselling at school?
Thirdly, what is the obstructing factor of counselling at school?
As the result, teachers with less than 9 years of experience are not satisfied with present system and realities than teachers with more than 10 years of experience. However, counselling location, time, details of counselling, and obstructing factors were almost the same regardless of experience.
In case of students, boys preferred a location which is blocked from outside, and girls preferred a location with east entrance. The necessity of counsellor and counselling is recognized more for girls than boys, and students in average level showed positive understanding. For voluntary counselling, 'never been to counselling' has the highest rank regardless of sex and grade, and 'counselling upon call' is the highest for cases of counselling. For the reason why counselling at school is not revitalized, the most responses regardless of sex and score were 'it would not be helpful' and 'privacy would not be guaranteed'.
For counseling at school to be revitalized and be a big help for students, it is very important that teachers at schools who are in charge of counselling should have pride and enthusiasm on counselling and improve themselves at all cost and concentrate their sacrifice and devotion to help students. Teachers' sincerity, enthusiasm, effort, and devotion would be the most important keys for development of counselling at schools.
