다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the what is difference between children's emotional intelligence and their school adjustment result from parents' fostering attitude perceived by children.
Additionally this study analysed the relationship of demographical background factors, emotional intelligence and school adjustment.
The research questions of the study were as follow ;
1. Are there any differences in children's emotional intelligence according to parents' fostering attitude perceived by children?
2. Are there any differences in children's school adjustment according to parents' fostering attitude perceived by children?
3. What is major factor influencing on children's emotional intelligence?
4. What is major factor which influence on children's school adjustment?
The sample of the study was 357 students of sixth grade in 5 elementary schools which is random sampled in daejeon
Also for this study questionnaire including parents' fostering attitude perceived by children, children's emotional intelligence and children's school adjustment was used. Data were processed by frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis.
The results in this study were as follow;
First, as a result of analysis on the demographical characteristics and children's emotional intelligence, gender, a level of father's education, a level of life were statistically signigicant factors in order. Also as a result of analysis on the demographical characteristics and children's school adjustment, gender and a level of life were statistically signigicant factors in order.
Second, in case of correlation between parent's fostering attitude and children' emotional intelligence, when parents have democratical fostering attitude it shows highly correlation. specifically emotional cognition expression, empathy, thinking promotion were statistically signigicant correlation in sub emotionally intelligency.
In case of correlation between parent's fostering attitude and children' school adjustment, when parents have democratical fostering attitude it shows most highly correlation.
Third, as a result of analysis on the major factor which had influence on children's emotional intelligence and school adjustment, gender, a level of life and a father's fostering attitude had influence on children's emotional intelligence. Also, gender, a level of life and parents' fostering attitude had influence on children's school adjustment.
The results of this study were that parents' fostering attitude had influence on children's emotional intelligence and school adjustment.
The results of this study would be a foundation for guiding the children to good emotional intelligence and school adjustment in that it suggests how parents should foster their children and helps to understand during the growing period.
