남·북한 아동용 애니메이션 비교 연구 = Comparison of children's animation between South Korea and North Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 남한과 북한에서 제작된 아동용 애니메이션의 내용과 차이점을 비교 연구해 보는데 그 목적이 있다.
이를 연구하고자 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
1) 남·북한 애니메이션의 주요 등장인물의 유형은 어떠하며 그 차이점은 어떠한가?
2) 남·북한 애니메이션의 소재에 따른 장르 유형은 어떠하며 그 차이점은 어떠한가?
3) 남·북한 애니메이션의 주요 주제 유형은 어떠하며 그 차이점은 어떠한가?
4) 남·북한 애니메이션에서 강조하는 사회적 덕목의 유형은 어떠하며 그 차이점은 어떠한가?
5) 남·북한 애니메이션에서 주로 나타나는 폭력성의 횟수와 유형은 어떠하며 그 차이점은 어떠한가?
6) 남·북한 애니메이션이 담고있는 정서적·문화적 색채는 어떠하며 그 차이점은 어떠한가?
본 연구는 남한과 북한에서 제작한 애니메이션 각 각 50편씩, 총 100편을 가지고 모니터링 한 내용관찰법의 방법으로 이루어졌으며 빈도에 의한 백분율로 나타내어 통계적으로 유의한지 카이 검중되었다.
본 연구의 주요한 결과를 연구문제별로 제시하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 주요 등장인물에서는 남한 애니메이션의 경우 사람이 많은데 비해 북한 애니메이션의 경우 동물이 많았다.
둘째, 장르의 유형은 남한 애니메이션은 여러 가지 다양한 장르가 골고루 나타났으나, 북한 애니메이션은 교훈적인 내용을 담은 교육·정보의 장르가 가장 많았다.
셋째, 주제 유형에서는 남한 애니메이션은 개인생활과 사회생활에 관한 주제가 비슷하게 많이 나타났으나 북한 애니메이션은 개인생활과 국가·민족생활에 대한 주제가 많았다.
넷째, 사회적 덕목의 유형에서는 남한과 북한 애니메이션 모두 사회생활 덕목 중 '협동·서로 돕기'가 많이 나타났다.
다섯째, 폭력성에 대한 결과도 남·북한 모두 신체적·물리적 폭력이 많은 것으로 나타났다.
여섯째, 정서적·문화적 차이점은 남한의 애니메이션이 개방적이고 다양한데 비해 북한의 애니메이션들은 비교적 제한적이고 정형화되어 있음을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of study is to compare children's animations made in South Korea and North Korea.
The research question are as follows:
1. What differences would be found in main characters appeared in animations between South Korea and North Korea?
2. What differences would be found in topics of animations between South Korea and North Korea?
3. What differences would be found in main themes of animations between South Korea and North Korea?
4. What differences would be found in virtues emphasized in animations between South Korea and North Korea?
5. What differences would be found in number and type of graphic violence appeared in animations between South Korea and North Korea?
6. What differences would be found in emotional and cultural base of in animations between South Korea and North Korea?
Fifty animations made in South Korea and in North Korea were monitored by the present researcher, using content analysis method, respectively. Several X^(2)were performed.
The results of the study were as follows:
First, main character of animations made in South Korea were peoples, whereas main character of animations made in North Korea were animals.
Second, a variety of topics, such as fairy tales transmitted from fathers, a puppy love story, comedy, action and adventure, sports, and SF, were found in animations made in South Korea, compared with those made in North Korea. The main topics used for children's animations made in North Korea were educational information, action, and heroic story.
Third, main themes of animations made in South Korea were individual and social life, whereas those in North Korea were individual and national life.
Fourth, a virtue of cooperation was emphasized by the animations made in both countries.
Fifth, corporal violence was typical type appeared in animations made in South and North Korea.
Sixth, typical characteristic of animations made in South Korea was openness and diversity, whereas those in North Korea were Limitedness and standardization
