Education is a specific behavior to the human being. Education has its own ideal, the ultimate object or the standard of value. It is also paid the kind of artificial process enhance of human's intellectual, affectable and physical growth. Nevertheless the most important thing is human being in education, we intend to emphasis effectiveness, and practical use rather than human itself. So it causes lack of moral education. As a result, it shows situation of alienation and dehumanization of human in education. We could solve these problems that we try to put the goal which is to give emphasis on growing individuals who does reflective thinking, has willingness to make his community human. To promote of individual who can judge and decide independently and autonomously, we need education of dialogue to help the individual independently.
In this study, I probe the meaning of dialog in sense of existentialism, criticism, post-modernism. I try to find if they have something in common and apply it's common features in education.
I classified three types of dialog, in this view of education and individual internal dialog, genuine dialog, and the common ground dialog, communication act, and critical, expensive dialog, thought of outside.
I survived the educational meaning of dialog. I prove the condition of each education of dialog and educational application. The condition for education of dialog is recognition of difference, esteem and understanding, criticism, freedomㆍselectionㆍresponsibility and authority, faithfulness, inclusionㆍempathic understanding and reliability.
In the view of education application for dialogue, there are two types of study in curriculum and out of curriculum.
First, the education of dialogue in curriculum, I took a look at differentiated instruction and problem solving instruction, cooperative learning method, constructivism.
Second, out of curriculum, I inquired the Habermas is reconstructed Kohlberg's moral consciousness. To understand Kohlberg's view I searched the dialog between teachers and students from basic to further for questions and answers. There are specific stages in the question and answer model.
Stage 1, recognition of dilemma, stage 2, provisional statement, stage 3, reasoning, stage 4, establishing each point of view.
In conclusion,
1. It is essential to communicate internally.
2. It is emphasis to respectful meeting.
3. It is essential to esteem each person.
4. The dialog has conditions for education.
5. The dialog should have an importance in curriculum and out of curriculum.
So, I have sixth suggestions as a implication to the instruction.
1. It's important to have a which point of view concerning knowledge and student.
2. We supposed to put an emphasis on the dialogue.
3. The important thing in dialog is its atmosphere.
4. The teaching methodology should be concerned learner's standpoint for social, individual.
5. Teaching in social life should be practiced.
6. Struggle to accomplish his goal at teaching.
In instruction, there is big gap between theory and reality, so it is important to get over the gap. The more important thing is teacher's role. This is bringing up the learner's personality. We need a dialog to raise up the learner's personality. The dialog always happens in class daily life. So, we should comprehend dialog exactly, and try to apply it to real education system.
