The SPSS 10.0 program was used for data processing, and frequency and percentage, average and standard deviation, factor analysis, t-test, Pearson's Correlation Analysis, ANOVA, and Tukey's test were used for data analysis. The findings could be summarized and discussed as follows:
First, a group of fashion goods purchasers in an Internet shopping mall tended to pursue pleasure, economical efficiency, and convenience-oriented shopping; in particular, those with high frequency in purchasing showed high pleasure and convenience orientation. Second, pleasure-oriented shopping was remarkable among those unmarried women in their twenties while married women in their thirties tended to conduct convenience-oriented shopping. The lower convenience orientation, the higher the average amount of spending on clothes a month. The more remarkable fashion-oriented shopping, the higher the average price of fashion goods in an Internet shopping mall; the period of time one spends in accessing Internet and the number of connections had a positive correlation with pleasure and economical efficiency orientation. A group that often used an Internet shopping mall showed high economical efficiency and convenience orientation in shopping.

As for differences between groups according to the marital status, the unmarried were found to show higher purchasing intention for upper casual garments than the married; to the contrary, the latter showed higher purchasing intention for functional clothes and sundries, and leather and fur clothes than the former. Those consumers who more frequently connect Internet were likely to show higher purchasing intention in an Internet shopping mall; the period of time one spends in accessing Internet had a positive correlation with purchasing intention for fashion goods in an Internet shopping mall.
Fourth, as for purchasing intention for each fashion goods in an Internet shopping mall, the purchasing intention was higher for upper casual garments than for formal dress or high-priced products such as leather and fur clothes. After analyzing differences in purchasing intention according to features of fashion goods in an Internet shopping mall, the purchasing intention was higher for casual clothes than for formal dress, for upper garments than for lower ones, and for those suits which are not subject to changes in fashion than for clothes in the latest fashion. And the intention was also higher for budget clothes than for high-priced noted brands and global designers' clothes, for price-reduced old products than for new ones at a normal price, and for budget fashion sundries than for high-priced global designers' fashion ones.
