고등학교 진로교육의 실태와 학생들의 진로의식에 관한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims at the actuality of course education and students' consciousness on the course in high schools, and also at the presentation to the way of improving course education. This study presented some research tasks including students' consciousness on the course, actuality of course education, plans for the course, and the way of improving them. The summarized results are as followings.
First, high school students' consciousness on the course was positive in general.
Second, students expressed negative views on and were not satisfied with course education.
Third, their planning on the course was at the negative degree.
High school students knew their own interests and aptitude, but they expressed negative feelings on course education centered on entrance examination. In addition, their planning on the course was centered on higher scores.
So this study clearly presented the way of improving course education in high school as followings.
High school teachers have to educate students on the consciousness of the course continuously and put emphasis on information. Parents of students have need of course information offer activity in order to offer counselling activity for students. In addition, teachers have to educate students on the course through education materials including internet and CD titles as well as ICT.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 고등학교의 진로교육의 실태를 파악하고 학생들의 진로의식을 알아본 다음 진로교육에 대한 개선 방안으로 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 고등학생의 진로의식, 진로교육의 실태, 진로에 대한 계획, 개선방안 등을 연구 문제로 설정하였다.
이 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 고등학생들의 진로에 대한 의식은 학생들 전체적으로 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 고등학교에서 진로교육에 대해 학생들이 만족하고 있지 못하고 부정적인 견해를 나타내고 있다.
셋째, 고등학생들의 진로에 대한 계획의 정도는 보통인 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 고등학생들의 진로교육의 운영 만족도는 부정적인 것으로 나타났다.
고등학생들은 자신에 대한 흥미와 적성에 대해서는 잘 알고 있으나 입시위주의 진로교육에 대해 불신감을 드러내고 있으며, 진로 계획도 성적 향상 위주로 치우치고 있다.
따라서 고등학교의 진로교육을 위한 개선방안을 제시하면 다음과 같다.
고등학교에서 진로의식에 대한 교육은 지속적으로 이루어지면서 직업에 대한 정보 제공 활동은 강화 되어야 할 것이다. 또한 고등학생들의 진로상담활동을 위해 학부모의 진로 정보 제공 활동이 필요하다. 바람직한 진로교육이 이루어지기 위해서 인터넷이나 CD타이틀 등을 이용한 진로교육용 자료와 정보통신기술(ICT)을 위한 진로교육이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
