An organizational identification is the key for the higher work performance and the better job satisfaction. Also, it increases efficiency in an organization. The focus of the study is to look at the organizational identification among female civil servants. When the organizational identification is high, female civil servants in public health service will have higher participation and loyalty. Thus, they can provide high-quality service to people. The organizational identification in public health care (in city) will be different from one in rural public health center. The independent variables are individual characteristics and job specification. The parameter is public evaluation and work-effectiveness.
The subjects are 210 public health providers and 300 licensed nurses. They are working in twenty health center in Gyeongnam. The duration of the study is from 9/25/2006 to 10/20/2006.
The findings are following; first, individual characteristics and job specification has a little influence on the organizational identification but public evaluation and work-effectiveness influence the identification. The public health providers have the lower organizational identification the one of the licensed nurses. This identification is directly related the quality of public health service so that it is needed to improve. Lastly, to raise efficiency in an organization, it is necessary to modify the laws which lowers working motivation, to provide an opportunity of promotion, and to equip with better system to bring more supporting personnels.
