The purpose of this study was to examine relationships between leadership of semi-pro table-tennis coaches, team cohesion and perceived performance by applying Quinn's Competing Values leadership Paradigm. The subjects were 82 semi-pro table-tennis players. The researcher was to visit the sport teams, and explained the purpose of this study and contents of the questionnaire, and asked players to answer the questionnaire. The measures were CVLQS(Competing Values Leadership for Scale) developed by Ha Hyung-ju(1996), Group Environment Questionnaire used by Carron et al(1981), Performance Inventory used by Mamassis and Doganis(2004). Data was analyzed through SPSS 12.0 Version and AMOS 4.5. The level of significance was set up .05. From the upper the procedure, the results were made as follows.Firstly, authoritative director, calculating executioner, mediating broker role had significantly more level than mentor, analytic manager, innovative researcher role in coaches of semi-pro table tennis.Secondly, there were significant difference by gender in mentor role and mediating broker role.Lastly, calculating executioner, mediating broker, mentor, analytic manager, and innovative researcher role had positive relationship with sub-factors of team cohesion and perceived performance. However, authoritative director role had negative relationship with sub-factors of team cohesion and perceived performance. Individual Attractions to Group-Task, individual Attractions to Group-Social, Group Integration-Task, and Group Integration-Social had positive relationship with perceived performance.
