혼자된 노인의 성이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = study on the effect of sex of widowed old person on life satisfaction

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted on the widowed old persons more than 60 years old living in Daegu metropolitan city in respect of the effect of a widowed old person on life satisfaction.
First, it examined the general features of a widowed old, second, it investigated the real fact of sex of a widowed old person (sexual perception, a sexual life, a sexual desire, heterosexual association, a sexual education and a sexual program), third, it examined the life satisfaction of a widowed old, and lastly, it looked into the effect of sex of a widowed old person (sexual perception, a sexual life, a sexual desire, heterosexual association, a sexual education and a sexual program) on life satisfaction (attitude toward ageing, self-respect, self-fulfillment, actual satisfaction).
As a result, first, ti was found that social prejudice and wrong perception prevented the aged from talking freely about their sexes putting them under taboo but their sexual consciousness or desires did not disappear even if they grew older.
Second, it was found that the aged, to solve the sexual desire, was very positive in heterosexual association.
Third, it was reported that the sexual-life perception of the aged bad an effect on the attitude toward ageing. That is, their actual sexual life or the degree of satisfying a sexual desire showed static correlation with the attitude toward ageing of the aged, indicating that the actual sexual life and solution of the sexual desire of the aged made themselves feel young and furthermore led to maintenance of a healthy life.
Fourth, it was revealed that their actual sexual life or the degree of satisfying their sexual desire showed static correlation with the self respect of the aged, indicating the actual sexual life and solution of sexual desire of the aged could raise the self respect of the aged.
Lastly, it was revealed the actual sexual life, or satisfaction degree with a sexual desire, of the aged showed static correlation, indicating the actual sexual life and solution of sexual desire of the aged could increase the quality of life.
On the basis of this study, social prejudice and wrong perception would be changed. New sexual education and programs are needed. Single old person try to find healthy ideas to solve their sexual desire. And also soceity and family have to help them to reduce their sexual desire.
