청소년의 인터넷중독과 학습동기 및 학교생활적응의 관계 = (The) Relationship between Adolescents' Internet Addiction and Academic Motivation and Adaptation of School Life

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이상의 연구결과와 논의를 바탕으로 본 연구의 결론을 내리면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 청소년의 인터넷 사용실태와 인터넷의 중독 실태에 대해 살펴볼 때, 청소년들의 인터넷 사용실태는 거의 대부분의 청소년들이 인터넷을 사용하는 환경에 노출되어 있으며, 인터넷을 학업에 활용하기 보다는 게임이나 채팅으로 사용하고 있다. 인터넷중독 실태를 보면, 청소년들의 인터넷 중독은 심각하며, 성별, 학년별에서 중독실태가 비슷하며, 성적분포를 통한 연구를 통해 인터넷중독이 심한 학생일수록 성적이 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 청소년의 인터넷중독과 학습동기의 관계를 살펴볼 때, 인터넷중독과 학습동기는 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 인터넷 중독이 심할수록 학습동기 수준이 낮게 나타났다. 즉, 학습동기가 낮을수록 인터넷중독 경향이 높으며, 이는 학습에 대한 동기가 낮을 학생일수록 인터넷중독에 대한 위험요소를 더 갖고 있음을 시사하는 것이다.
셋째, 청소년의 인터넷중독와 학교생활적응의 관계를 살펴볼 때, 인터넷 중독과 학교생활적응은 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 인터넷 중독이 심할수록 학교생활적응 수준이 낮게 나타났다. 즉, 인터넷 중독경향이 높을수록 교사와 조화롭고 긍정적인 관계를 맺는 정도가 떨어지고, 친구에 대한 관심과 학교의 여러장면에서 적응력이 떨어진다.
넷째, 인터넷중독이 대도시의 청소년뿐만 아니라, 소도시의 청소년에게도 심각하게 나타나고 있으며, 학습을 하고자 하는 학습동기와 학교생활적응하는 전반적인 영향이 매우 큼을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between adolescents' internet addiction and academic motivation and adaptation of school life
In order to achieve the purpose, the research questions were ad follows:
First, How are the actual conditions of adolescents' internet addiction among elementary school students, junior high school students and high school students?
1) How are the actual conditions of internet addiction among gender groups?
2) How are the actual conditions of internet addiction among academic background?
Second, How are the relationships between internet addiction and academic motivation level among elementary school students, junior high school students and high school students?
1) How are the relationships between internet addiction and academic motivation level among gender groups?
2) How are the relationships between internet addiction and academic motivation level among academic background?
Third, How are the relationships between internet addiction and adaptation of school life level among elementary school students, junior high school students and high school students?
1) How are the relationships between internet addiction and adaptation of school life level among gender groups?
2) How are the relationships between internet addiction and adaptation of school life level among academic background?
There were 475 students in Tea-An and Tea-An area in Korea as a subject for study (Elementary school students were 149. Junior high school students were 157. High school students were 169)
The results of the study were as follows:
First, adolescents' internet addiction was very severe. and we need to find the effective methods and several methods about the internet use and education.
Second, the relationship between adolescents' internet addiction and academic motivation was found to indicate a negative relationship.
This result means that the more the possibility of internet addition was, the lower subjects' academic motivation became.
Third. the relationship between adolescents' internet addiction and adaptation of school life was found to indicate a negative relationship. This result means that the more the possibility of internet addition was, the lower subjects' adaptation of school life became.
Fourth, adolescents' internet addiction are spreading small tows as well as metropolis.
Because internet addiction affects severely academic motivation and adaptation of school life, we need various directions, parents concern and expert education for the prevention of internet addiction and.
