This study is mainly focusing on the effect of private education on self- efficacy, self-regulatory efficacy, and learning accomplishment level.
The types of private education consist of academies, private tutoring, self-study workbook, and after school lesson.
Learning attitude have self-efficacy of learning motivation and self-regulatory efficacy of learning ability.
To find the effect of learning accomplishment level, the midterm grades of some students were used.
1. Are there some differences between self-efficiency, self-regulatory, and learning accomplishment level as participating in private education?
2. Are there differences between self-efficiency, self-regulatory and learning accomplishment level as the types of private education?
To test the hypothesis of this study, 104 students of three classes in the third grade and 102 students of three classes in the sixth grade at D elementary school in Jeon-Ju were sampled.
For confirmation of the study, the research was tested on the students.
And "Standards of Self Efficiency";written by Park Byung Gi, Chae Sun Yung used to measure self-efficiency as the types of private education and subjects.
"Compound Measure of Self-regulatory" written by Park Byung Gi, Jung Gi Soo, Kim Sun Mi and Lee Jong Ook were used to measure self-regulatory.
Learning accomplishment level used the results of midterms that was tested at D elementary school in May 10th 2006.
The result of this test are as follows;
1. The result to find the difference in self-efficiency, self-regulatory efficacy and learning accomplishment level through t-test as participation of private education had almost no significant difference with regard to self-learning efficiency and participating-efficiency.
There was also no significant difference with regard to self-regulatory efficacy that included in self-regulatory and action-regulatory.
Also, in learning accomplishment level, the average of the students participating in private education are higher than others. So, there was a significant difference.
2. To find the difference in self-efficiency, self regulatory efficacy and, learning accomplishment level as the types of private education, F-test was tested through classification of the groups.
In result of the research, the type of private education had no significant difference with self-efficiency, self-regulatory efficacy and learning accomplishment level.
In conclusion, participation and type of private education can't affect self-efficiency, self-regulatory efficacy and learning accomplishment level.
