청각장애인을 위한 효율적인 컴퓨터 교육에 관한 연구 = (A) Study on Effective Computer Education for the Hearing Impaired

국문 초록 (Abstract)

미래사회에서 컴퓨터에 대한 무지는 전통적인 사회에서 읽기, 쓰기, 셈하기 등을 할 수 없는 것과 같은 기능적인 문맹과 동일 시 한다. 지식기반 정보화 사회에서 컴퓨터에 대한 무지는 단순히 시대에 뒤떨어지는 정도가 아니라, 새로운 문화적응에 실패한 낙오자와 같이 취급된다. 정보화 시대의 이러한 현상은 장애인이라 하여 예외가 될 수 없으며, 오히려 장애를 극복하기 위해서도 정보의 활용이 더욱 더 요구되고 이를 위한 교육환경 마련이 절실하다.
본 연구는 장애인 중에서도 청각장애자를 위한 컴퓨터교육의 제반 여건 마련에 있다. 청각장애의 이해를 가지면서 컴퓨터의 전문적인 기능을 갖춘 교사가 부족하다는 것이 가장 큰 문제점으로 교육현장에서 효율적인 컴퓨터 교육을 위한 방안을 제시한다.
청각장애인 교육시 필수적으로 선행되어야 할 부분으로 청각장애의 원인 및 특성과 함께 그들의 문화인 농문화를 이해하고, 교육법 및 정보통신 개작장치를 알아본다. 아울러 청각장애인을 대하는 에티켓과 함께 교사의 지침 및 교육방법과 취업실태를 통해 교육환경을 이해하려는 노력이 필요할 것이다.
또한 청각장애인을 위한 효율적인 컴퓨터교육 방안을 모색하기 위하여 교사의 역할과 정부 및 기관의 역할을 알아보고, 문헌과 실 현장에서 이루어진 컴퓨터교육 사례를 들어 효율적 교육 방안을 제시함으로써 청각장애인들의 정보화 사회참여와 삶의 질 향상에 도움을 주고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In our community, the ignorance of computer handling looks like a illiterate person who even don't know addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in the conventional society. In the information community based on knowledge, the ignorance of computer handling in not only threat the person behind of world trend but also we usually treat them as a failure man behind the times. These circumstances under the information era couldn't be an exception even handicapped people. Furthermore, to conquest the physical difficulties needs more and more the using the information and also the education devices for the above reasons.
The main purpose on this study is to settle the proper and effective conditions of the computer education for these who have hearing impaired.
The most serious problem in our country is the lack of the good teacher who have professional computer skills with the full understanding for the hearing impaired.
So on this study, the effective computer education on the education spot such as schools, institutions and so forth is absolutely needed. The causes and characteristics of hearing impaired and their cultural behavior patterns should have priority over all other things. and this study is to investigate the educational laws and regulations and adapted devices to operate information instruments.
It is necessary to understand them through the etiquettes toward them, teacher's guiding principals and teaching methods and their state of employment. It is necessary to find the roles of the teachers, government and institutions to looking for the solutions to the suitable and effective computer educational programs.
In this study, the hearing impaired are needed to participate and improve their living quality in the information society by giving good examples that the actual computer educations at the education spots.
