The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of the natural ecology education on creativity development of children enrolled in special classroom. The number of subjects in this study were 12(2 were 2nd, 3 were 4th, 2 were 5th, 4 were 6th graders). To obtain the empirical data, Creativity Test(김상윤, 2003), for the primary schooler or the older, were used. It consists of a language test and a geometry test. The language test has 4 subgroup items, and the geometry test has 5 subgroup items. To analyse the empirical data, SPSS sub Program t-test were used.
The issues of the study were as follows ;
a) Is there a significant difference on the development level of the language creativity between the exceptional children group that has been given the natural ecology education and the non-handicapped children group that has not given that program?
b) Is there a significant difference on the development level of the geometry creativity between the exceptional children group that has been given the natural ecology education and the non-handicapped children group that has not given that program.
The findings were as follows ;
First, the language creativity development level of the exceptional children group that has been given the natural ecology education appeared significantly more positive than the non-handicapped children group who has not given that program.
Second, the geometry creativity development levels of the exceptional children group who has been given the natural ecology education appeared significantly higher than the non-handicapped children group who has not given that program.
