Nowdays, people spend more and more time in indoor spaces and the poor indoor air quality which is easy to leading to sick building syndrome(SBS) or sick house syndrome(SHS).
In this study, first of all we selected each three building in Yosu university and analyzed the school building indoor air condition by measuring with four kind of Non-specific Indoor Air Monitoring (Formaldehyde, O3, PM10, VOCs) materials.
Each of the non-specific indoor air monitoring materials had good point of realtime measuring. The results of this study were summarized as follows.
The bounds of formaldehyde detection concentration for building before and after ventilation was 13 ~ 37㎍/㎥, 5 ~ 32㎍/㎥, and the detection concentration outdoor was 2 ~ 5㎍/㎥, respectively.
The bounds of ozone detection concentration for building before and after
ventilation was 0.002 ~ 0.007ppm, 0.001 ~ 0.009ppm, and the detection concentration outdoor was 0.004 ~ 0.015ppm, respectively.
The bounds of PM10 detection concentration for building before and after
ventilation was 24.4 ~ 74.3㎍/㎥, 30.9 ~ 73.9㎍/㎥, and the detection concentration outdoor was 23.4 ~ 53.8㎍/㎥, respectively.
The bounds of VOCs detection concentration for building before and after ventilation was 22 ~ 83㎍/㎥, 13 ~ 66㎍/㎥, and the detection concentration outdoor was 5 ~ 18㎍/㎥, respectively.
From the results above, each level of non-specific indoor air monitoring materials was lower than maintenance level or recommendation level of indoor air quality in multi-use facilities.
