장애아동 치료교육 서비스 증진 방안에 관한 연구 : 경인지구 복지관 中心으로 = A Study on the Education Service of Handicapped Children : focused on the Gyeongggi welfare institutions

As the old-aging and industrialization, various factors such as industrial disaster, traffic accident, drug abuse, environmental pollution, new disease to hard to cure are increasing handicapped population. These increasing problems of handicapped people are not to solve in privately or family, but society and nation have to solve whit national concern and effort as a governmental policy.
The purpose of this study is to investigate effective measures for utilizing welfare institution-centered education service of handicapped Children. For attaining the purpose, face-to-face interview method were carried out against the parents of handicapped children who using the welfare institution and use institution worker present-state board. In this study, 3samples were interviewed from their parents.
As a result of analysing the outcome, the following findings were given:
1) handicapped boys are more than that girls.
2) they are moving around 2 or 3 facilities for cure, therefore high facility fee burdened family budget.
3) Their status that uneasily change in present situation, parents have so much expectation and it outcomes their demand of various programs.
Based on the literature research, some policy recommendations were suggested as followed: first, selection test have to do periodically. Second, administration for handicapped children be established. Third, development of standard examination tool is urgent. Forth, give a tax favor. Fifth, as the institution that charge the part of handicapped children facility, they need to redistribute the time schedule on system.
Lastly, as a result, Education Service of Handicapped Children needs not only governmental concern, but also concern of co-related various institutions and facilities.
