Nowadays, in the rapidly changing social environment, military duties are more complicated with raising educational level of new generation privates, sudden change of mi1itary weapon systems, and emphasis of extracurricular duties besides wars. These change of mi1itary situation request military leaders more flexible
and various style leadership than any other generations.
Therefore, military leaders are in need of new leadership modeIs which are more adaptable in these days, military circumstance.
The service leadership model with C ·M ·S which puts stress on leaders' efforts for followers’ satisfaction is regarded an adaptable leadership model for military officers.
The aim of this study is to shows new dimension of military leadership through the research how military leaders’ C ·M ·S influence to knowers morale and satisfaction in their works
5battalions(groups) were surveyed for this study. And the result of survey was analyzed con-elation between leaders, C ·M ·S and followers’ satisfaction from their duties by two different point of view(individual level and group level) This study has identified that the knowers under the command of a leader has high marks in service leadership have higher satisfaction from their duties than the knowers under the command of a leader has law marks.
One lesson to be Iearned from this study of service leadership theory is that C ·M ·S, the elements of service leadership, already has been reflected in most militaw leadersI actual leadership involuntariIy.
In conclusion, the leadership guideline for military officers is to gain respect and trust from thier privates by intervening in his subordinates' problem and soking their dissatisfaction actively. It is an essential prerequisite of an effective Ieadership for a Ieader to make his followers to do their duties willingly, holding their leader in respect.
