초등학교 수학과에서의 통계 교육을 위한 스프레드시트 활용 방안 연구 = (A) Study on the Use of Spread Sheet for Statistics Studying in Elementary Mathematics

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회는 정보를 창출하고 제어하는 일이 매우 중요한 역할을 하는 ‘정보화’ 사회이다. 또한 사회의 정보화 수준에 따라 삶의 질과 국가의 경쟁력이 결정되는 시대이기도 하다. 이러한 사회에서 잘 적응하기 위해 가장 필요로 하는 도구는 컴퓨터이다. 컴퓨터는 수학 학습을 풍요롭게 하는 교육 매체이다.
제7차 교육과정에서도 정보화 사회에 대비하여 수학과 교수-학습 과정에서 복잡한 계산이나 문제해결을 수행하기 위해서 계산기나 컴퓨터 사용을 권장하고 있다. 사회 각 분야에서는 많이 활용하고 있으나, 그 효용성 면에서 활용도가 있는 스프레드시트 프로그램을 초등학교 교사들이 수업에 적용하는 사례는 많지 않다.
본 연구에서는 초등학교 수학 교과의 통계 단원에서 스프레드시트를 활용하여, ICT 활용 교육을 활성화하고 수학 학습의 효과를 높이는데 도움을 주도록 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It's now the Information Age, where information creation and its control are very crucial. The quality of life and national competitiveness hinge on whether or not there is a state-of-the-art information system. To better respond to this type of society, computer is most mandatory. And computer is one of the teaching media to enrich math learning.
The 7th national curricula advise to capitalize on calculator or computer for math class and problem solving. Although computer is wides pread across the board, it's not yet common for elementary school teachers to utillze spread-sheet problem in instruction, despite its good usability.
The purpose of this study was to apply spread-sheet program to elementary math statistics unit as a way to boost ICT-in education and raise the effect of math class.
