주한 외국인학교 2학년의 미술과 중심 교과통합프로그램 운영의 특징과 의의 및 문제점 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis mainly focuses on issuing and providing more efficient information and review of fine art centered integrated sessions through studying and reviewing current 2nd grade sessions in international schools in Korea. At the same time this thesis will provide references to current art teaching methods in Korean elementary schools.
Followings are the main topics that will be covered in this thesis to reach its purposes. Firstly, reviewing art education's overview, contents, structure, educational purposes and backgrounds of integrate art education sessions. Secondly, analyzing and studying designing, execution and evaluation of 2nd grade's art centered integrated sessions in international schools in Korea by reviewing operations and executions of actual education plans. Thirdly, finding more efficient method for the better implantation of art centered integrated sessions' operation and execution by studying its characteristics, meanings and problems of international schools in Korea.
Findings in 2nd grade's art centered integrated sessions in international schools in Korea by performing studies according to above mentioned are followings ;
Firstly, misunderstandings regarding integration of art education and other educational subjects. Secondly, lack of information exchange to promote exchange of integrated sessions. Thirdly, the needs of development of art centered integrated sessions.
The summery of proposed improvements based on above mentioned aspects of improvements in art centered integrated sessions in 2nd grade's art centered integrated sessions in international schools in Korea is following ;
Firstly, frequent intercourse of educational information among teachers for better understandings of in art centered integrated sessions in 2nd grade's art centered integrated sessions, and analysis and thorough review on other educational subjects' objectives to correct misunderstandings among educational sessions are important. Secondly, attempt of using ICT to design education program and exchanging diverse information among different schools that promote educational integrations is essential. Thirdly, concentration on activity focused art educations that involve diverse field trips, profound visual and sensual educational experiences that are deviated from orthodox art educational methods to attract best of student's attentions.
At this stage of study, this thesis will support improving art centered integrated sessions in 2nd grade in international schools and providing art centered integrated sessions in 2nd grade education program by analyzing characteristics and problems of art education in Korean international schools.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라에서 외국단체 등록제도가 폐지(1999. 2.)되고 잠정적으로나마 인 허가를 통한 각종학교로 편입시킴에 따라 주한 외국인학교는 각종학교 형태 또는 국내법상 학교가 아닌 외국단체의 성격을 갖는 교육기관으로서 운영되어 왔다. 각종학교로서 외국인학교는 일단 각종학교로 인가 받은 이상 초·중등교육법상의 학교로서 지위를 가지고 있다. 이에 반해서 외국단체로서 외국인학교는 교육관계법상의 근거를 갖는 것이 아니라 단지 출입국관리법에 따라 등록된 외국단체로서의 법적 지위를 지니고 있었다. 물론 법 형식상 각종학교 또는 외국 단체로 구분되지만, 교육과정, 교원자격, 지도·감독 등 운영의 실제 면에서는 국내 교육관계법의 적용을 받지 않은 채, 교육관계법의 영역 밖에 존재하고 있었던 것이다. 그러한 외국인학교의 특수성과 자율적 운영 등을 이유로 교사의 교과연구 자료나 정보는 충분치 않았고, 아직까지 그에 대한 연구도 매우 미비한 수준이다.
본 논문에서는 주한 외국인학교 초등학교 2학년 과정에서 실제 현행되고 있는 미술과의 교과통합 프로그램 운영에 대한 연구와 분석을 통해 그 특징과 의의를 찾고 문제점을 제시하여 보다 효과적인 미술과 중심 교과통합 프로그램의 시행을 위한 자료로 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 국내의 초등학교에서 적용하고 있는 수업지도방안 등에의 참고자료로 제공하는데도 의의가 있다.
이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구의 내용은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 주한 외국인학교의 미술과 개요, 내용구성 및 체계, 교육목적 등을 살펴보고 미술과 교육과정 통합적 배경과 의의를 고찰한다.
둘째, 주한 외국인학교 2학년 대상 미술과 중심 통합교과 프로그램의 설계, 실시, 평가 등을 진행하며 실제 수업지도방안 제작과정과 운영실태를 조사, 분석한다.
셋째, 주한 외국인학교에서의 교과통합 프로그램 운영에 관한 특징과 의의, 더불어 그 문제점을 살펴보며 보다 효율적인 운영방법을 모색한다.
이상과 같이 시행된 연구의 결과 주한 외국인학교 2학년 대상 미술과 중심 통합교과 프로그램 운영을 통하여 발견한 문제점은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 미술교과와 타 교과의 교과통합에 대한 잘못된 인식
둘째, 교과통합 프로그램 활성화를 위한 정보교환 부족
셋째, 다양한 미술과 중심 교과통합 프로그램 개발의 필요성
이러한 맥락에서 본 논문은 미술과 교과통합 프로그램 운영의 특징과 문제점 분석을 통하여 실제 교육 현장에서 쉽게 거론되지 않았던 현실적인 개선방안 제시의 필요성과 주한 외국인학교의 특성에 맞는 미술과 중심 통합교과 프로그램 운영체제 개선에 도움이 되고자 한다.
