This study is to provide basic data for reading and writing education programs of Korean for academic purposes by analysing various texts and their structural elements from actual academic papers from the study of Korean Language. In the study Two structural elements were reviewed and analysed ; Marker of text-structure that was previously introduced in the existing literature and specific Content Markers that was newly defined in this study as one of the structural elements to represent typical contents in certain texts.In Chapter 2, for systematic analysis of Marker of text-structure and Content Marker, existing theories about the Maker of text-structure and its construct in academic papers were briefly introduced. In Chapter 3 Content Markers of paper texts were extracted from general construct of academic papers in the humanities and their typical content elements.In Chapter 4 actual texts from academic papers were analysed based on the Marker of text-structure and the systems of content elements reviewed in previous Chapter 2 and 3. The analysis mainly focused on the Content Marker because Content Markers could include most of the Marker of text-structure and also were more suitable for an analysis of texts from a certain genre.For the Marker of text-structure, only usages of the Attribute Marker were briefly analyzed. The Content Markers were presented with examples produced by categorized expressions from the texts based on the system that was divided in Chapter 3.In Chapter 5, with summary of the whole study until Chapter 4, limitations and significance of the study and research subjects need to be addressed for further analytic study in the future were presented.
