The purposes of this dissertation are to research and analyze aged people's problems and causes of problems in physical, psychological, social and lifetime-education aspects and to present aged people lifetime education programs' development direction by drawing out aged people's lifetime learning desire.
Concrete contents of this dissertation are followings.
Firstly, practice contemplation of definition and approach method for analyzing study desire, characters of aged people as lifetime learner, resources of lifetime learner as basic research through collection and study of preceding investigation and references.
Secondly, developing tools for researching lifetime learning desire, aged people's actual living condition and present problems.
Thirdly, analyze aged people's actual condition in each area(declining year's life, physical, psychological, social, lifetime learning aspect) by implementing developed tools, investigating related lifetime learning desire and analyzing differences among personal backgrounds.
Lastly, examine and conclude aged people's lifetime learning desire by attempting to debate the result.
This dissertation conducts research by implementing questionnaire for "Investigation of Aged people's lifetime learning desire" to 494 aged-female between 60 and 80 years old in SU-JI and BUN-DANG area.
Analyze is conducted by SPSS/WIN 10.0 program. Data is analyzed by calculating basic statistical values such as average and standard deviation as first step. Then female aged people's actual living condition and problem in each area(declining year's life, physical, psychological, social, lifetime learning aspect) are analyzed. Furthermore, t-test, one-way ANOVA and χ2 verification are used to examine differences of background attributes to related lifetime learning desire.This dissertation provides following results through research and debate.
Firstly, Female aged people's education program which can manage health condition continuously through understanding prevention for diseases and physical alteration should be provided when female aged people's age are relatively low and their health condition information are easily accessed.
Secondly, programs focusing physical alteration and declination should be planned and offered at related institution or organization when female aged people's age are relatively high and their economic abilities are weak.
Thirdly, average longevity is enlarging, medical care technology is ameliorating continuously and aged people's social activity is increasing at present society. Hence, job training programs for aged people should be provided.
Fourthly, households-activating programs should be provided sufficiently to improve family relationship
Fifthly, aged people education programs should specify and reflect various aged people's learning demands with thoughtful consideration for diverse aged people's learning desire by adjusting to social background and individual background.
Sixthly, aged people education programs should strongly inflect their experiences and wisdoms of age to maximize educational effect and participation to the program.
Seventhly, various female aged people education programs should be offered in easily accessible institutions and organization vivaciously.
Lastly, female aged people education programs should deliberate equality of education opportunity through social and economic condition to make any female aged people's participation possible.
