물질, 에너지, 정보로 본 삼원론의 구조 = (A) study on a construction of SamWon thought by conceptualizing matter, energy, informaton

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 물질, 에너지, 정보에 대해 개념적으로 연구한 것이다. 물질, 에너지, 정보는 삼원론의 핵심개념이다. 삼원론이란 현대단학이 제시하는 세계관이다. 삼원론은 물질과 정신, 감각과 사유의 단절이라고 하는 전통적인 이분법을 극복하기 위한 철학이다. 삼원론은 에너지의 체험을 통해 신성을 자각함으로써 감각과 사유, 물질과 정신의 단절을 연결시킬 수 있다고 한다. 그래서 삼원론은 단순한 이론이 아니라 에너지의 체험에 대한 수련의 체계를 이루고 있다.
이 글은 개념 분석을 통해 삼원론에 접근한다. 삼원의 현대적 의미에 해당하는 물질, 에너지, 정보 개념에 대하여 기존의 전통적인 논의를 정리해보고 삼원론과의 비교연구를 통해 삼원론에서 새롭게 담아내고자 한 것은 무엇인지 밝혀보고자 하였다. 그러한 결론을 통해 존재론으로서의 삼원론의 구조의 대략을 그려보려 하였다.
물질의 장에서는 물질에 대한 기존의 철학적 논의를 ‘형상 · 질료설’, ‘기계적 물질관’, ‘ 유물론’, ‘내재적 자연관’으로 구분하여 검토하였다. 그 결과 삼원론에서 물질은 정보와 에너지의 작용에 의해 변화하지만 형상 · 질료설의 질료처럼 일방적으로 규정되는 관계에 있지 않으며 물질은 단순히 정보를 받아들이는 것이 아니라 정보가 그것과 조화를 이루어야 하는 측면, 그것자체의 운동성이 있다는 결론에 도달하였다. 삼원론에서 궁극적인 하나 외에다른 차원은 없고 그 하나를 벗어나는 현상은 없다고 해석되기 때문에 삼원론은 내재적 자연관과 유사하다는 결론에 도달하였다. 삼원론은 ‘물질을 감각하는 것’과 ‘물질에 대해 사유하는 것’ 사이에 ‘에너지를 느끼는 차원’이있음을 말하는 점에서 기존의 내재적 자연관과 차이를 보이고 있다는 점을 지적하였다.
에너지의 장에서는 서구학문의 맥락에서 에너지가 담고 있는 개념적 내포와 삼원론에서 말하는 에너지에 담겨있는 의미를 비교분석해보았다. 삼원론의 에너지는 동북아 전통사유에서 ‘기’ 개념을 이어받은 것이기 때문에 서양철학과 과학에서 쓰는 에너지 개념과 반드시 일치한다고 볼 수는 없다 비교를 . 통해 서구의 에너지 개념에서는 형상의 에너지와 질료의 에너지가 단절되어 전재되어 온 것에 반하여 삼원론은 물리적 에너지와 정신적 에너지를 연속되는 것으로 본다는 결론에 도달하였다. 삼원론에서 에너지는 질적으로 체험과 활용이 가능하다는 점에서 관계에 대한 양적 측면만을 다루는 과학적 에너지와 구별된다. 또한 삼원론에서 에너지는 근원적인 상태를 나타내기도 하면서 체험가능하고 활용가능한 차원이 공존한다. 이러한 측면을 설명하기 위해서 에너지에 대해 다차원적으로 접근해야 함을 밝혔다.
정보의 장에서는 현재 논의되는 수준에서 정보에 대한 정의를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 삼원론에서 말하는 정보는 포괄적 개념으로서 여러 차원으로 나누어 살펴보아야 한다는 결론에 도달하였다. 또한 정보는 존재론적 함의를 가지는 개념으로 보아 정보를 설명할 수 있는 기존의 존재론의 개념으로 형상과 사건을 검토해보았다. 그 결과 형상 개념으로는 정보의 다양성과 변화를 설명할 수 없으므로 정보는 사건에 더 가까운 것이 아닌가하는 결론에 도달하였다. 또한 이 글은 삼원론에서 정보는 크게 현상적인 차원과 근원적 인 차원으로 나누어야 함을 지적하였다. 삼원론은 현상적인 차원의 정보를 통해 정보는 선택할 수 있다는 실천적인 결론을 도출하려는 것이다. 그 때남게 되는 선택의 주체와 선택의 기준의 문제는 근원적 차원의 정보 즉 신성의 차원에서 풀어야 한다는 결론에 도달하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study gives notional approaches on SamWon thought. This paper intends to inquire how Matter, Energy, Information can be interpreted in SamWon thought. Matter, Energy and Information which are the basic concepts in SamWon thought. SamWon thought is the ontological way of thinking of the Being handed down traditionally in Korea. There are recent studies on interpreting SamWon thought into modern ideas. One of them is Lee Seung-Hun's opinion which has been popularized through the efforts of Brain Respiration practice groups. Lee Seung-Hun newly called SamWon as Matter, Energy and Information which were jung( )-myung( )-sung( 精命性) in a traditional way.
In order to understand new version of SamWon thought I make a comparative study of the implications of Matter, Energy and Information between on the grounds of Western Philosophy and of the principle and training of SamWon thought. Therefore it is necessary to examine what have been treated as the general ideas of Matter, Energy and Information in the context of western and modern civilization. We can also examine what is newly construed on the concepts of Matter, Energy and Information under SamWon thought.
In the chapter of Matter, I conducted this study to show that Matter can be differentiated into 4 ontological meanings which are as matter in the idea of Form from Aristotle, as machine in the mechanism from Descartes, as the one and only reality in the materialism from Marx and as an attribute of the unique substance in the immanent view of nature from Spinoza. As compared with these thoughts Matter of SamWon thought shows that Matter has its own power to move and vary and demands Energy and Information to harmonize with it. This means that SamWon thought cannot be constructed by the thoughts of Form and of mechanism which have transcendental existences like Form or Subject of speculation. The transcendental existence acts Matter one way whereas Matter, Energy and Information interact in SamWon thought. SamWon thought can be parallel to immanent ways of thinking which assert that materiality is reality or reality is reality. However this study tries to make the difference clear between SamWon thought and the ther immanent ways of thinking in respect of Energy which can act through sympathizing. Energy is not visible and learned but sensible and affective. Accordingly in SamWon thought they say there can be the third way, that is a sympathy with Energy, between a sense to Matter and a speculation to Spirit.
In chapter of Energy, I keep my attention to what differences there would be between the connotation of Energy in the line of western civilization and in the context of SamWon thought. Energy in SamWon thought corresponds to the word 'Ki' which has been a fundamental idea in the oriental civilization. Energy in SamWon thought is deeply rooted in a long and complex tradition of 'Ki' thought whose meaning is not the same to Energy in the western civilization. Energy has discontinuity between Form and Matter in western thoughts. Energy of Matter has been theorized in the name of Science. Energy in science represent quantitative and functional relation of Matter. I focus on the important characteristics of the ideas of Energy in SamWon in contrast with that of Science. Energy in SamWon thought bears the construction of being qualitative, directly sensible and applicable with the way of mind control. Energy of SamWon thought builds a bridge across the rift between Spirit and Matter. In SamWon thought, Matter and Sirit have continuity by the medium of Energy. According to SamWon thought the operation of Energy can realize the Divine nature which is the true self inside human beings. Therefore SamWon thought emphasizes the importance of the cognitive and emotional training of Energy. Likewise Energy in SamWon thought should be constructed into two dimensions of meaning. The first one is the source of all beings which can produce Matter and Information. The second is as an equivalent to interact with Matter and Information. On that account we should study Energy in SamWon thought with an ontological approach as well as with an empirical one.
In the chapter of Information it is made an investigation into how to define Information up to now and also inquired into how it is used in SamWon thought. I can derive a conclusion that Information in SamWon thought includes a lot of meanings which can be divided roughly into two dimensions : Information in a phenomenal significance and Information in the essential meaning. Information in a phenomenal significance is used with the practical intent to show that information is optional. It remains to be selected by who and what criterion. The role is assigned to the information in the essential meaning which also can be called as Divine nature. This study puts an ontological interpretation upon Information as compared with Form and Event . As a result of this comparison Information is more like Event than Form.
