This study is aimed to develop the standards of service quality for performance halls. In order to achieve the aim, existing literary and FGI were examined to list the elements measuring the service quality of performance halls. These elements again were developed into 20 items under a total of 7 component categories according to the performance and variables in consideration of the unique characteristics of performance hall as a field of culture and art.
In the empirical analysis, the first-order factor structure was analyzed and the results showed that the elements were appropriate to measure the service quality of performance halls.
The second-order factor structure proved to be valid as well to confirm that the 7 component categories properly measure customer satisfaction of performance hall service. The high level of GFI value in the first order factor structure and the second order factor structure shows that the standards developed in this study are effective as a tool to measure the service quality for performance halls. In addition, a regressive analysis conducted to test the predicted feasibility by examining the impact on customer satisfaction, found that the 7 categories of service quality of performance halls have a statistically significant impact on customer service.
