보육교사 교육원 졸업생의 입학동기와 교육만족도에 관한 연구

This study has the purpose of considering ways to maximize trainees satisfaction of the given education in training schools for the daycare teachers through the relationship between the satisfaction and the study motive of them.
To accomplish this purpose, the subjects of the study were 452 alumni from 3 training schools for the daycare teachers in 2002 in Gyeong-gi Province through 3 weeks(April 3-21, 2003) with questionnaires which modified many previous studies. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, one-way anova and multiple regression analysis.
The major results of the study are as follows;
First, the study motive is greatly influenced by personal purposes such as to obtain license or to make the given task more efficiently. Aged over 30 show higher study motive than aged under 29. High school graduates or graduate alumni show higher motive than university graduates. Married people generally show high motive. On conclusion, trainees with high study motive get the related job after graduation from the training school for the daycare teachers.
Second, for the education satisfaction of the alumni, they show the highest satisfaction with the school administration such as service management or kindness. Aged over 30, high school graduates or graduate alumni and married people generally show high education satisfaction. Trainees with high satisfaction with their education have related job after graduation.
Third, trainees with high study motive have high satisfaction with the study curriculum. Especially, trainees with personal study motive have high satisfaction with curriculum, student-governing activities or guidance counseling. Others with social service motive have high satisfaction with the school administration.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 보육교사교육원에 참여하는 교육원생들의 입학동기에 따라서 교육만족도가 어떠한지를 조사하여 교육대상자의 만족도를 극대화시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하는데 목적이 있다.
이를 위해, 경기도 지역 보육교사교육원 3개소의 2002년 졸업생 452명을 대상으로 4월21일까지 3주간에 걸쳐 선행연구를 참고하여 연구자가 제작한 설문지 조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 t검증과 일원변량분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구문제에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 보육교사교육원 졸업생들의 입학동기는 자격증을 따기 위해서나 맡고 있는 일을 보다 효율적으로 하고 싶어하는 개인적인 목적이 가장 컸다. 보육교사교육원 졸업생의 입학동기는 29세 이하의 연령보다 30세 이상에서 높게 나타났고, 2년제대학 졸업자보다 고등학교 졸업자나 대학원 졸업자의 입학동기가 높게 나타났으며, 기혼자의 입학동기가 더 높게 나타났다. 그리고 보육교사교육원의 입학동기가 높을수록 졸업 후 보육관련기관에 취업한 것을 알 수 있다.
둘째, 보육교사교육원 졸업생의 교육만족도는 교육원의 업무처리나 서비스 친절성 등의 행정영역에서 높았다. 보육교사교육원 졸업생의 교육만족도는 30세 이상, 고졸이나 대학원 졸업자, 기혼자들의 집단에서 더 높게 나타났다. 또한, 교육만족도가 높을수록 보육관련기관에 취업하고 있었다.
셋째, 보육교사교육원 졸업생의 입학동기가 높을수록 교육만족도가 높았으며, 특히, 보육교사교육원 졸업생의 개인적 목적에 대한 동기는 교육내용이나 학생활동과 진로지도에 대한 교육만족도에 영향을 주었으며, 사회복지 측면의 입학동기는 행정에 대한 교육만족도에 영향을 주었다.
