전래놀이동요 음악 활동이 유아의 정서지능에 미치는 효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 전래놀이 동요 음악활동이 유아의 정서지능 향상에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이었다. 연구 대상은 경기도 지역 H유치원 5세반에서 음악교육 경험이 없고 유치원 외의 교육을 받지 않으며 사회, 경제적 수준이 비슷한 유아 각각 20명, 전체 40명을 대상으로 20명을 실험집단(남자 11명, 여자 9명)에, 나머지를 통제집단 20명(남자 12명, 여자 8명)에 무선배치 하였다. 실험집단은 2004년 9월 30일부터 10월 29일까지 주 5회 30분씩 총 20회 음악활동을 10명씩 두 그룹으로 실행하였다. 전래놀이 동요 음악활동 전 후 이병래(1997)의 정서지능 체크리스크를 사용하여 각각 담임교사와 주임교사가 일상생활에서 유아들의 행동을 객관적으로 관찰하여 기록하였으며 두 관찰자간의 일치도는 82%의 신뢰도를 나타내었다.
연구의 결과, 전래놀이 동요 음악활동이 유아의 정서지능 향상에 유의미한 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 하위 영역에 있어서는 자기정서조절과 타인정서조절 영역에서 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다. 자기정서 인식과 타인정서 인식 영역에서는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았지만, 평균점수를 비교해 볼 때 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 더 많은 향상을 보여 주었다. 이는 전래놀이 동요 음악활동이 유아의 정서지능 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 보여준 것이라 할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine an effect of traditional playing songs musical activity on improving of emotional intelligence for children.
The subjects of this study, fourty children with no experience in music lessons, no education except kindergaten and similarity social economy level were go to H kindergaten located in Kunggi-do.
They were divided into two random groups: an experimental group(20) and a control group(20). The experimental group was given 20 sessions of traditional playing songs musical activity five times every weeks between September 30 to October 29 and the control group shaired after listen to the traditional story.
Teachers and the chairman checked children against Emotional Intelligence Checklist by Lee Byung-Rae(1997) before and after the experiment. And the oberservations were analyzed with the degree of agreement.
According to the results, the children in the experimental group showed significantly improved in the area of emotional management. And in the area of emotional understanding showed less improvement. However these improvements were more noticeable than contral group.
The findings of this study show that traditional playing songs musical activity influenced positively on the improvement of emotional intelligence for children.
