뮤지컬을 활용한 음악수업 모형연구 : 인문계 고등학교를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

미래 사회는 창의적이고 진취적이며 풍부한 감수성을 지닌 인간상을 필요로 한다. 이러한 인간상의 육성을 위해서 우리나라에서도 7차 교육 과정의 개정을 통해 음악 활동의 중요성을 강조하고 있으며, 창의적으로 신축성 있게 두 가지 활동 또는 그 이상의 활동을 통합적으로 운영할 것을 권장하고 있다.
본 연구에서는 이와 같은 교육 방향에 부합되는 교육 활동의 한 방법으로 뮤지컬 활동을 연구하였다. 인문계 여자 고등학교 1학년 학생을 주 대상으로 주당 1시간의 수업을 중심으로 하여 수업 모형을 6과정으로 구안하였다.
뮤지컬 활동은 음악적 요소가 중점적으로 다루어지는 종합적인 음악 활동이지만 학생들이 작곡한 순수 창작 음악만으로 음악적 내용을 구성하기에는 현실적 어려움이 있어, 부분적으로 창작 음악을 사용하고 나머지는 기존의 다양한 장르의 음악을 자유롭게 사용하도록 하였다.
본 연구에서는 뮤지컬교육을 현장에서 적용할 때 학생들을 적극적으로 참여하도록 유도하는 방안이나 구체적 지도 방법에 대한 방안을 중심으로 하여, 현실적이고 구체적인 수업 모형을 제시하고자 하였다.
먼저 뮤지컬 활동을 위한 학습 프로그램의 6과정을 단계별로 안내하고, 그 내용을 7차시의 구체적인 수업 지도안으로 제시하였다.
수업의 성취도를 알아보기 위하여 뮤지컬 계획서, 중간 과정 평가서, 최종 발표 평가서, 동료 평가 및 자기 평가서에 대한 내용으로 구성된 수행 평가를 계획하였다. 뮤지컬 수업을 마친 후 뮤지컬 활동에 대한 결과의 분석을 통해 학생들의 반응과 교육적 효과에 대해 알아보았다.
뮤지컬 활동을 통한 음악 수업은 음악의 여러 영역을 다양하게 체험할 수 있으며, 합창/합주 등으로 제한되었던 음악 소집단 학습의 새로운 형태라는 점에서 의미 있는 수업 형태로 볼 수 있다.
뮤지컬 활동은 소그룹 활동을 통해 학생들의 개인주의적인 심성과 행동양식에 변화를 주고 협동의 진정한 의미를 깨닫게 하는 교육적 효과가 있었다.
또한 뮤지컬이 지닌 다양하고 자유로운 표현 방식을 경험함으로써 학생들이 학교 음악 수업과 자신의 음악 세계와의 거리를 좁히고, 학생들 개개인의 음악적 호기심을 자극하여 음악에 대한 흥미와 관심을 증대시킴으로써 음악의 생활화에 이바지하는 것으로 나타났다.
따라서, 뮤지컬 활동은 교사에 의한 일방적인 수업 형태에서 벗어나 학생들의 자발적인 활동을 통해서 개인의 숨은 재능과 능력을 발휘하고, 독창적이고 개성적인 표현을 통해 창조성과 사고력을 기를 수 있을 것이라고 여겨진다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

A man of creative, progressive and sensitive mind is required for our future society. For nourishing such a human image, our educational system puts emphasis on musical activity through the 7th revision of curriculum.In the 7th revision, no less than two activities are recommended to be managed in unified system with creativity and flexibility.
This thesis is a study on Musical Drama activity as an educational activity which respond to the revised curriculum. This thesis is targeted for the 1st grade highschool girls based on one class a week in the six courses.
Although this activity is a synthetical musical activity dealing with various musical elements, the original musical works made by students are not enough to make up all the musical contents. So as an alternatives, current various genre musics are used as well as creative music.
This study is intended to present a realistic and concrete teaching model for encouraging students to take part in the activity positively and the actual way of teaching when musical drama activity is performed in a class.
At first, six courses of musical drama activity program is introduced step by step and the concrete teaching plan is presented for 7th class.
In order to figure out the students accomplishment of learning, plan for accomplishment evaluation consist of musical draft, intermediate and final evaluation, other team evaluation and self evaluation.
Students response and educational effect are reviewed through analysis of musical drama activity after the activity is finished.
The musical teaching through musical drama activity is very meaningful because students can experience various fields of music and it can be a new model for a small group learning which has been limited to singing in chorus and playing in concert.
Musical drama activity has an educational effect to change egocentric attitude of students and having them realize the importance of mutual cooperation in the society.
In addition, it also contributes to making narrow the distance between school music class and students interest in music through experiencing various and free expession of musical. Students become more curious and interested in music than before through the musical activity.
Therefore, Musical drama activity in highschool will contribute enhancing creativity and thinking power of students through creative and characteristic expression based on students voluntary activity and participation, which is different from one-sided teaching.
