As for the index used in this study to measure the development of children prosocial behaviors, the researcher re-used the measure that was revised and changed by Lee Won Young(1993) and "The Torrance Test Creative Thinking" that the validity and the reliance were verified by Jeon Kyung Won(1999) was used for the creativity test. The ANCOVA analysis was performed to examine the hypothesis 1 & 2 and the interactive effect between the experimental groups and the control groups. The SPSS program(10.0 version) was used to process the statistics.
The results of this study were showed as follows;
First, the experimental group's mean score(M=16.52) of prosocial behavior was significantly higher than the control group's(M=13.04). <hypothesis 1> can be accepted as the experimental group was proven to be more effective(p< .05) then the control group in relation to prosocial behaviors of young children.
Second, the experimental group's mean score(M=23.80) of creativity was significantly higher than the control group's(M=16.48). <hypothesis 2> can be accepted as the experimental group was proven to be more effective(p< .05) then the control group in relation to creativity of young children.
In conclusion, in this experiment, it has been proven that the Intergrated Education Activities using Fairy Tales is more effective in stimulating the prosocial behaviors and creativity of young children than the Traditional Education Activities of life-focus in the kindergarten.
