This study examined a relationship between children's playfulness and their the father's child rearing attitude.
The subjects were 5 years old 205 boys and girls and their father in chonan province. The instruments were Barnett's CPS(Children's Playfulness Scale) and Schaefer's MBRI(Maternal Behavior Research Instrument). The data were analyzed by t-test and Pearson's correlation.
The major findings were as follows ; 1) There is no direct evidence of their interrelationship in total score. According to in the physical spontaneity of playfulness: male children obtain higher score than female do. 2) The father's child rearing love attitude: female children obtain higher score than male do. 3) There wasn't any relationships between a child's playfulness and the father's child rearing attitude.
