찰흙을 재료로 한 미술 프로그램이 시설 청소년의 정서에 미치는 영향

Because modern society lose family's child-rearing function by family demolition and parents' support ability loss or plant as parents have existed from trend toward the nuclear family, increase of divorce, unwed mother's increase, failure of domestic economy etc., child's number who live in orphanages is increasing. Of course, life in orphanages is better in teenagers' protection and growth than unstable assumption. But, teenagers who live in orphanages lose love and intelligence because they are isolated from family and suffer culture that is lack of them. Also, these retains critical condition of other life with general teenagers who should discharge in facilities and lives if come to 18 years old just. Therefore, general teenagers and orphanage teenagers can appear to differ in cotton that expresses own emotion , imports control and emotion. Because need realistic far bank for these problem, principal tries to suggest art program that do clay to data to help orphanage teenagers' positive emotion fostering.
Therefore, purpose of this study is that art program that do clay to data searches about effect that get in facilities teenagers' emotion change.
Live at H orphanage located in Kyonggi Province to accomplish purpose of study such as upside and talent and learning principal cause student 18 people (9 boys, 9 girls) in the middle school and clay by target .This investigator wished to clear effect of art program that observes and records facilities teenagers' clay modeling activity who is revealed thereinto as participation observer while program is gone and uses clay through 'Teenagers own action estimation measure (K - YSR)' after program enforcement move and this.is consisted of shrinkage, body symptoms, gloom/uncertainty, social immaturity, problem of accident, concentration problem of a week, flight, pregnability, glossary/Jeongchegam by low rank area of two measures and divides this by my realization problem, outside realization problem, gun problem behavior measure point and I wish to see impact that clay modeling activity gets in emotion.

Orphanage teenagerses who take part in art program that do clay to data compare that participate whole curriculum and teenagers own action estimation measure point appeared by positively improved thing. But, it served as a momentum that can develop own talent through clay modeling activity and have sense of accomplishment and pride than frustration. As well as, a several person discusses and learns method that tune other person's thing with oneself idea through interlocution that is continued making cooperation work and experienced. So, these could foster sociality and cooperation spirit. Program that do clay with upside to data sees that gave effect that is positive in facilities teenagers' emotion.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회는 핵가족화, 이혼의 증가, 미혼모의 증가, 가정 경제의 파탄 등으로 인해 부모가 생존해 있으면서 가족해체와 부모의 부양능력 상실 또는 포기로 가족의 자녀양육 기능이 상실되어 시설에서 생활하는 아동수가 증가하고 있다. 물론, 불안정한 가정보다 시설에서의 생활이 청소년의 보호와 성장에 더 도움을 줄 수 있으나 시설에서 생활하는 청소년은 가정으로부터 격리되어 모정을 상실하고 지적이고 양육적인 경험이 부족한 가운데 문화실조를 겪으면서 살아갈 수밖에 없으며, 이들은 만 18세가 되면 시설에서 퇴소해야 한다는 일반청소년과는 다른 삶의 위기를 지니고 살아간다. 그러므로 일반 청소년과 시설 청소년은 자신의 정서를 표현, 조절하는 것 그리고 감정 이입하는 면에서 다르게 나타날 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 위한 현실적인 대안이 필요하기 때문에 본인은 시설 청소년의 긍정적인 정서 함양을 돕기 위해 찰흙을 재료로 한 미술 프로그램을 제안하려 한다.
따라서 본 연구의 목적은 찰흙을 재료로 한 미술 프로그램이 시설 청소년의 정서 변화에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보는 것이다.
위와 같은 연구의 목적을 성취하기 위해 경기도에 위치한 H보육원에서 생활하고 중학교에 재학 중인 학생 18명(남 9명, 여 9명)을 대상으로 찰흙을 재료로 한 미술 프로그램을 2005년 2월 15일부터 4월 4일 동안 총 13회기 실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구자는 프로그램이 진행되는 동안 참여 관찰자로서 그 속에서 발현되는 시설 청소년의 찰흙 조형 활동을 관찰 기록하고 프로그램 실시 이전과 이후의 ‘청소년 자기행동 평가 척도(K-YSR)’를 통해 찰흙을 이용한 미술 프로그램의 효과를 밝히고자 하였다. 이 척도의 하위 영역으로 위축, 신체증상, 우울/불안, 사회적 미성숙, 사고의 문제, 주의 집중 문제, 비행, 공격성, 자해/정체감으로 구성되어있고 이를 내현화 문제, 외현화 문제, 총문제행동척도 점수로 구분하여 찰흙 조형 활동이 정서에 미치는 영향을 보고자 한다.
본 연구의 프로그램 주제는 재료 탐색 영역, 자기지각 및 발산 그리고 친사회성 함양을 위한 영역, 미래 지향적 영역으로 나누고 그 안에 세부 주제로 자유 표현하기, 내 얼굴 만들기, 동굴 벽화(혼자 보는) 또는 벽화(모두 볼 수 있는) 만들기, 애니메이션 제작, 나만의 그릇(함) 만들기, 나를 상징하는 것 만들기, 흙 밟기 놀이 / 날개 만들기, 자유 표현으로 구성되었다.
실험 실시 전과 후의 시설 청소년의 정서의 변화를 알아보기 위해 청소년 자기행동 평가 척도(K-YSR)를 이용하였으며 수집된 자료의 분석은 통계적 방법에 의한 양적 분석과 관찰 기록 및 사진 자료 등을 토대로 질적 분석을 병행하였다.
본 연구에서 얻은 주요결과를 요약 정리하면 다음과 같다.
찰흙을 재료로 한 미술 프로그램에 참여한 시설 청소년들은 참여하기 전과 비교하여 청소년 자기행동 평가척도 점수가 긍정적으로 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 하위 요소에 대해서 살펴보았을 때도 우울·불안, 공격성 척도 영역에서 사전·후 간의 점수 차이가 크게 나타났으며 그 다음으로 비행, 주의집중문제, 사회적 미성숙 순으로 변화가 나타났다. 그리고 본 연구에서 시설 청소년들은 찰흙 조형 활동을 통해 내면세계에서 억압된 정신을 자극하고 각자가 지니고 있는 정서 문제나 고민 등 좋지 않은 감정으로부터 해방될 수 있는 활로를 찾음으로 해서 공격적인 성향이 감소되었다고 여겨진다. 그리고 네 단계로 구성 된 프로그램에 따라 자기 발산의 경험을 하면서 긍정적인 미래를 설계하고 이를 창조적인 방향으로 이끌어 가고자 하는 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 또 다양한 경험을 통해 각자의 재능 및 잠재적인 능력을 발견하기 어려운 시설 청소년의 현실적 상황에서 찰흙 조형 활동을 통해 자기 소질을 개발하고 좌절감보다 성취감과 자신감을 가질 수 있는 계기가 되었다. 뿐만 아니라 여러 사람이 토론하고 협동 작품을 만들면서 계속되는 대화를 통해 자신의 아이디어와 다른 사람의 것을 조율하는 법을 배우고 경험하면서 사회성과 협동심을 기를 수 있었다. 위와 같이 찰흙을 재료로 한 프로그램은 시설 청소년의 정서에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다고 본다.
