The Purpose of the study was to find out the relationship among interpersonal anxiety, self-efficacy and body image of students in college.
For the purpose of this research, four questions were presented.
First, is there any significant relationship between interpersonal anxiety and self-efficacy of female students in college?
Second, is there any significant relationship between interpersonal anxiety and body image of female students in college?
Third, is there any significant relationship between self-efficacy and body image of female students in college?
Fourth, is there any significant relationship among interpersonal anxiety, self=efficacy and body image of female students in college?
The data for this study was selected by 410 students of female students in college.
Social Avoidance and Distress Scale(SADS) was used to measure inter-personal anxiety, Self-efficacy Scale was used to measure self-efficacy and Body-Esteem test(BET) was used to measure body image. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, simple correlation and multiple regression analysis using SPSS.
The results of the study can be summarized as followings.
First, there was a statistically significant relationship between interpersonal anxiety and self-efficacy of female students in college.
Second, there was a statistically relationship between interpersonal anxiety and body image of female students in college.
Third, there was a statically relationship between self-efficacy and body image of female students in college.
Fourth, there was a statically relationship among interpersonal anxiety, self=efficacy and body image of female students in college.
