청소년 한부모의 개인 및 환경 특성이 부모효능감에 미치는 영향 = The effects of personal and environmental factors on youth single parent‘s parenting efficacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구에서는 자녀를 양육하는 만 24세 이하 청소년 한부모의 개인, 환경 특성이 부모효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 청소년 한부모 242명의 자료를 분석한 결과, 청소년 한부모의 개인적 특성 변수 중 출산후유증과 육아스트레스가, 환경적 특성 변수 중에서는 빈곤 여부, 시설 거주 여부가 부모효능감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 개인, 환경 특성 관련 변수를 모두 투입한 결과 출산후유증, 육아스트레스, 시설거주 여부만이 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수로 나타났다. 이 연구를 통해 출산 당시 신체적, 정신적 후유증이 컸고, 육아스트레스를 많이 느끼며, 시설 생활인 보다 재가(在家) 청소년 한부모일수록 부모효능감이 낮은 것이 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 후속연구를 위한 제안과 정책적, 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

he purpose of this study is twofold. One is to explore the general characteristics of youth single parent and the other is to identify the factors associated with the effects of personal and environmental factors on youth single parent's parenting efficacy. The main finding of this study is that personal factors, or psychological aftereffects of giving birth and maternal stress related to child-rearing, and environmental factors, or being in poverty and living in public residential facilities, have significant influence on youth single parent's parenting efficacy. These results imply that the more psychological aftereffects of giving birth and maternal stress youth single parent have, the lower parenting efficacy they internalize. Besides, youth single parent who live in community by themselves show less parenting efficacy compared to those living in public residential facilities. With the results implications were discussed and several suggestions for future studies were presented
