열정의 교육서사를 향한 시론 : 예술가의 내러티브를 중심으로 Focusing on the Narrative of Artists = Essay on the Narrative of Passionate Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

오늘날 교육에서 스승과 제자 간의 교육적 협력과 창조는 그 가능성만큼 실현되지 않고 있다. 나는 이 아픔에 주목하며, 예술가의 교육적 관계에서 발현하는 열정세계를 ‘개인적 차원’과 ‘교육공동체 차원’에서 새로운 지평으로 드러내고 해석하였다. 교육적 관계에서 공유된 의미를 창조한다는 것은 개인적 차원에서 새로운 내러티브를 형성함과 동시에 교육공동체를 거듭나게 하는 세계를 형성함을 의미한다. 최근 질적연구에서 논의되는 내러티브는 아이들에게 깊이 잊혀져 있는 근원적 삶을 돌아보게 하며, 성찰성으로 나아가게 하는 핵심주제이다. ‘개인적 차원’에서 내러티브의 중요성은 아이들이 스스로의 독특한 내러티브를 가진 아이들로 살아가게 한다는 점에 있다. ‘교육공동체’ 차원에서 서사성의 중요성은 교육적 관계에서 형성하는 열정세계에 있다. 무엇보다도 스승과 제자의 열정세계는 교육적 관계에서 열정을 상생하는 창조성의 시공간이며, 새로운 교육서사로 이어 나아가게 한다. 스승과 제자의 열정세계는 주어진 세계를 넘어서서 실현하고자 하는 강렬한 열망의 세계, 꿈꾸는 세계를 현실화하려는 실험정신과 탈주의 정신이다. 특히 스승과 제자의 서사적 만남은 늘 가슴에 생생히 살아있게 하는 열정세계이다. 그 세계는 더 나은 세계를 향한 진지성, 정직성, 진실, 공감성, 격려의 따뜻한 열정을 지속적으로 교류하며, 상생하는 창조세계이다. 무엇보다도 한 인간으로서 전체성의 통합성과 성찰성을 가지기 위해서는 스승과 제자의 참된 만남이 선행되어야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In these days, in the field of education, the educational cooperation and creation between teachers and students are not realized as it can be. I classified the realm of passion that is manifested by artist’s educational relationship into ‘individual level’ and ‘educational community level’ and revealed and interpreted it in a new sphere while paying attention to that suffering. To create a shared meaning in an educational relationship is to form a new narrative in a personal level and time to renew educational community level at the same time. Recently an approach of qualitative study to broaden our vision into a narrative means that we are in a new position to integrate and introspect in the fundamental life that children have forgotten totally. The importance of narrative in a personal level is that children are to live their life having their unique narrative. In an educational level, the importance of narrative lies in the realm of passion that are shaped through educational interaction. Above all, the realm of passion between teachers and students is creative space and time that generates a impressive passion in an educational relationship, and advances it to a new education narrative. The world of educational passion between teachers and students is the experimental and challenging spirit that denies the given world and tries to realize cherished society. It is with a few narrative meeting that teachers and students can make a world of a passionate academic world in which their warm heart can stay. This world is a creative world that keeps on making essential ingredients for the better world such as earnest, honestly, truth, sympathy, encouragement. The bottom line is that to have a sincere educational time between teacher and student is a prerequisite if a student wants to have wholeness and introspection as a human being.
