국제 문식성 평가 분석을 통한문식성 교육 시사점 탐색 -PIRLS, PISA, PIAAC을 중심으로- = Exploring Educational Implications for Literacy Education through the Analysis of the International Literacy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to explore educational suggestions for literacy education based on the analysis of three international literacy assessments, PIRLS, PISA, and PIAAC. By cross-checking these three assessments, this study examined the level of Korean’s literacy and explored how to improve it from the beginning level to lifelong learning. Six suggestions for improving literacy education were discussed in this study: the need to reconstruct the concept of literacy, plan for digital literacy education, literacy education for diverse learners, exploration and educational plan for reducing the gap between male and female students and adults, benchmarking international literacy assessments, and finally the need for the interaction and collaboration with other countries to solve literacy problems.
