간호대학생의 자아상태 및 인생 태도가 공감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 교류분석 이론에 기초한 간호대학생들의 자아상태 및 인생태도를 파악하고, 자아상태 우위그룹과 인생태도 유형에 따른 공감수준의 차이를 규명하며, 이들 하위요인들과 공감 간의 관계와 공감에 미치는 영향을 탐색하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구도구는 한국 교류분석협회의 성인용 Ego-OKgram과 공감 측정도구를 이용하였으며, 총 204부의 자료를 기술통계와 일원분산분석, 단순상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 간호대학생의 자아상태는 NP (양육적 어버이)를 정점으로 FC (자유스런 어린이)가 높은 점수를 보이는 NP우위의 M형 패턴을 보였으며, 인생 태도는 타인긍정(U＋)이 가장 높고, 자기긍정(I＋)도 높은 점수를 나타내어 자기와 타인에 대한 긍정성이 모두 높은 ＋＋형 패턴을 나타내었다. 자기와 타인에 대한 관점을 조합한 4개의 기본적인 인생태도 분포에서는 자기긍정-타인 긍정(I＋U＋)이 가장 많았고, 자기긍정-타인부정(I＋U?), 자기부정-타인긍정(I?U＋), 자기부정-타인부정(I?U?)의 순으로 나타났다. 자아상태 우위에 따른 공감수준의 차이에서는 NP우위형의 공감수준이 CP우위형, FC우위형, AC우 위형의 공감수준보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 인생태도 유형에 따른 공감수준의 차이에서는 자기긍정-타인긍정(I＋U＋)의 공감수준과 자기부정-타인긍정(I?U＋)의 공감수준이 자기긍정-타인부정(I＋U?)과 자기부정-타인부정(I?U?)의 공감수준보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, NP (양육적 어버이)와 타인긍정, 자기긍정성이 높을수록 공감수준이 높고, 타인부정, 자기부정성이 높을수록 공감수준이 낮다는 결과를 얻었다. 간호대학생의 공감수준을 예측하는 가장 영향력 있는 요인은 NP 자아상태였고 타인긍정, 타인부정과 함께 이들 3개 변수는 41%의 설명력을 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 간호대학생의 개인적 특성인 자아상태와 인생태도가 공감수준에 미치는 영향력 에 대한 의미있는 결과를 제공함으로써 학생 교육과 상담 및 공감연구를 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identify the influences of ego states and life positions on empathy in nursing students. A descriptive survey study conducted visit-surveys with questionnaires and sampled 204 female nursing students in Daejeon, and Chungnam. Korean version of Ego-OKgram, Empathy scale was used. Data was analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, Stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 18.0. The results of this study are following. Nursing Students’ Ego-OKgram showed M-type pattern with peaked NP ego state and (I＋U＋)pattern with positive attitude toward self and others. The degree of empathy according to leading pattern of ego states were significantly different in NP and CP, FC, AC ego state. And the degree of empathy according to compounding life positions were significantly different in positive attitude toward others (I＋U＋, I?U＋) and negative attitude toward others (I＋U?, I?U?). In addition, the empathy level positively correlated with NP ego state, positive attitude toward self and others, and negatively correlated with negative attitude toward self and others. Multiple regression analysis showed NP ego state, positive attitude toward others (U＋), negative attitude toward others (U?) significantly influenced empathy level. The findings suggest that nursing educators and health professionals, while understanding the students, developing and providing the empathy training program need to be aware of the ego states and life positions in nursing students.
