프로젝트 관리자 역량과 리더십이 프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 R&D, IT/IS, 건설/엔지니어링 등의 프로젝트를 수행하는데 있어서 프로젝트 관리자의 어떤 역량이 프로젝트 성과에 영향을 미치는지를 연구하고자 하였고, 동시에 프로젝트 관리자의 어떤 리더십 스타일이 프로젝트 성과에 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 또한, R&D, IT/IS, 건설/엔지니어링 등의 프로젝트 유형별로 프로젝트 관리자의 역량이나 리더십 스타일에 따라 성과가 달라지는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 설문 대상은 프로젝트를 수행한 경험이 있는 기업체 근무자를 대상으로 하였으며, 분석결과 프로젝트 관리자의 역량 중에서 프로젝트 계획수립 역량이 프로젝트 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 리더십 스타일 중에서는 성취지향성 리더십이 성과에 영향을 미치며, 프로젝트 유형에 따라 프로젝트관리자의 역량이나 리더십 스타일이 성과에 영향을 미치는 것은 아주 미미한 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study has examined the project managers' competency on overall project in firms and suggests the three major competency factors for the project performance: project planning, communication for common consensus, and recognition & reward for performance. This study considers the proper project managers' leadership styles for the successful project implementation. Also the project managers' competency and leadership styles are adjusted the project performance by project types: IT/IS projects, construction&engineering projects, and R&D projects. A survey was performed to employees who have experienced project management tasks. The findings indicate that the project planning competency has a strong effect on the project performance, the result oriented leadership style relate to the project success, and the project types doesn't strongly adjust the relationship between the project managers' competency & the project managers' leadership styles and the project performance.
