중년 여성의 배우자 사별의미에 대한 주관성 연구 = Meaning of Bereavement in Middle Aged Widow

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was aimed to identify the types of subjective meaning of bereavement in the middle aged widow. The Q-methodology was adopted to analyze the subjectivity of each item. Thirty selected Q-statements from the literatures and in-depth interview with 26 middle aged widows. P sample consisted of 26 middle aged women with widowhood. The collected data was analyzed by using a PC QUANL program. Three types of meaning of bereavement in middle aged widow were identified. Type I was 'children centered type', Type II was 'actualistic survivor type' and Type III was 'future oriented type; reconstructing new family'. The three factors extracted all had eigenvalues greater than 1.0 and explained approximately 45.39% of the variation in responses (24.69, 11.85 and 8.85% respectively).
Nursing interventions to reestablish the meaning of life, to reorganize social relation, and to bring them into their normal lives for middle aged woman who are going through grief and loss should be developed.
