전래동화 패러디물 다시 보기: 메타인지적 관점 = A Rethinking of Parodies of Fairy tales: A Meta-cognitive Psychological Perspective

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 전래동화의 패러디물이 어떻게 아동들에게 소통되는지, 기호학 및 인지과정의 체계 속에서 어떤 심리적 기능을 하면서 향유될 수 있는지 탐색해 보았다. 이런 과정을 위해 먼저 원텍스트인 전래동화가 지닌 단순성과 몰입성, 그리고 반복성이라는 특성이 어린 독자들로 하여금 이의 패러디물인 하이퍼텍스트를 보다 쉽게 다루고 상호작용할 수 있도록 해준다는 점을 부각시켰다. 그런 다음 어린 독자가 이런 전래동화 패러디물을 소통하는 방법으로 Peirce의 가추법과 이를 토대로 한 Eco의 추론적 산책 개념을 적용, Barthes의 ‘읽는 텍스트’로서 패러디물이 어떻게 이들에게 수용될 수 있는지를 밝혔다. 마지막으로 이런 전 소통 과정이 어린 독자들의 메타인지적 역량을 높일 수 있는 과정임을 결론적으로 드러냄으로써 전래동화패러디물이 갖는 심리적 가치와 의의를 찾았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to examine the function and the effects of parodies of fairy tales on children`s metacognitive developments. First of all, the formal characteristics of fairy tales were interpreted in terms of their simplicity, absorbedness, and repetitiousness. From this perspective, the parodies of fairy tales were prospected as proper hypertexts for young children to play and interact with because of the formal characteristics of hypertexts. Then, the methods of communication between readers and parodies were explored with a couple of semiotic theories including the concepts of abduction (C. Peirce), ``inferential walks`` (U. Eco) and text reading theory of Roland Barthes. So, all of the procedures of communication between parody texts and young reader can be viewed as the reader`s activating process for the reader`s meta-cog.
