    This study reviews Korean sociologists` concern and efforts of studies in crime and delinquency area. This study classifies five processes of development in crime and delinquency studies by beginning(60s), initial(70s), revival(80s), jumping(90s), and developmental(2000s) stage. In addition, it investigates sociologists` studies in their books, major journals, and articles by five stages. This study analyses three main subjects of studies by 1) testing theories of etiology, 2) actual condition and explanation of each typology of crime and delinquency, and 3) countermeasure or policy. Finally, this article discusses sociological major concerns, their limits and problems, and future solutions or prospects
